Leo Lock, a reading addict with the ability to truly 'read' books, never really fit in his boring 'normal' world. However, everything changed when an unknown voice found its way to his head!

Fainting only to find himself in the body of a character from a fantasy novel he once read upon waking up, Leo barely processed his new reality before he was thrown into another whirlpool.

[Role: Reader]
[Target: Reach the Epilogue.]

The only lead he had about his 'transmigration' didn’t speak much! Even the character he took over already had a foot in the coffin! How was he supposed to survive that long? Why did he have to become the protagonist’s brother?!

Moreover, what was this Personal Book supposed to be? Reading Attributes? Points?

Follow Leo as he experiences the true life of a reader in a fantasy book, facing expected challenges, and encountering all kinds of 'new'…

Would he manage to go back and find out the reason behind his 'transmigration'? Was that even his purpose? Or was this nothing but the start of a much bigger change beyond the scope of his understanding…?

***

First Volume: The Sword Master’s Second Life
Second Volume: Murim Supremacy

Note: Yes, Leo starts out with a sword, but that isn’t the limit to his choice of weapons! Collapse

Sound like a mix of Fantasy Simulator, ORV and The Novel's Extra, not saying it's bad though, I still have to read it

I would agree, except take out ORV cause it isn't that similar to ORV imo

This novel just Fantasy Simulator: mc can return stuff he obtain (abilities, 'stats', objects and so) from other world to main world by purchasing for points that given from changing another world plot.
This reading ability gives mc too much features except points stuff: fast learning, fast comprehending, photographic memory (for books), personal dimension, etc. Mc even know everything about world that he travel. But mc doesn't control his own ability, some features activates randomly (when author needed), some features don't even get choice like quests, worlds for traveling (and powers he can get from).

Storytelling inconsistent and fragmented a little. Author like to jump in future and tell about chapter ago event as past. But author like more to expand last paragraph from previous chapter in the next chapter. You can read two sentence and first sentence will be start of next chapter and second sentence will be in the middle and i'm cant say that expanded part really needed, looks like it's exist for word count. Except it novel itself slow paced.

For me this mc doesn't have personality. He likes to read. That's all. He does like every other good guy and i won't remember him after week. Author make it worse because give him too much competence but he can't even manage it. Just like mc get part of Sherlock Holmes powers and use it in first chapters but later he loose it.

When i see "reader" mc, i'm expect something like 'Spectator' from LOTM but not puppet without any choice...
Afterall it's not bad at all but there isn't something special. Better read Fantasy Simulator.

Ok, reading the first 20 chapters, this novel feels very similar to fantasy simulator, if any of you have read that before, with the reader points and the ability to take skills out of the simulation. That's all I have to say about it so far, maybe there'll be more soon, who knows. I do enjoy it so far tho

Is it like the start of Fantasy Simulator or after his world disappears? Because shortly after that it starts getting bad.

The start of it, tho I don't think I read to the point where his world got destroyed because of the many warnings I was given from comments.

How FS getting bad? I'm read 600ch and it's still ok. Mc just get some more power to world hopping and bigger scene to play. Most difference is not stopped time in main world.

Idk but it kinda gets boring and the Mc sort of stops feeling anything. It starts feeling like he emotionlessly does the same things again and again, without any struggles or emotions.

So true, FS are really boring bc of different reasons right know, atleast in his human selves in his new homeworld, as a kobold so is it a little less boring, and when he does serious simulations.

Basically, from what I’ve gathered, mc will be able to keep certain ability’s that he chooses from worlds that he goes to. He loses all physical ability gained in that world when he returns to his original body, and reading on later you will see more in-depth of the system of how he will be able to keep his powers cause I can’t explain well at all.

Under spoiler tags is exactly what his powers are specially

i stoped reading this novel, no not because it's bad but because of something else like there are no emotions

hmm how to explain this. sometimes author's can control the readers emotion by the way they write, they are setting up the mood or so

just like when you will feel excitement because of fight scenes or you'll feel sad and upset because of tragedies

this novel doesn't have that, at least for me okay?

like the mc is good to be honest, he's cunning, intelligent, and ruthless he's also caring to those close to him

but still for me there are something missing, i can't explain it myself

ohh last this story is slow phase btw

    so yep that's it

I’ve been reading this on web novel for quite a while now, and I’m gonna say this is pretty good imo, though sometimes I wished the author expanded on some things, I never really thought as reading this as some sort of chore. There haven’t really been bullshit moments which is nice and Mc isn’t stupid at all.

I've read to chapter 140 and this story is pretty okay. The first world is pretty cheesy with swords but works.
