    Alright, can we all admit that answering to a question about his style of the sword, his identity, with „the wind” is somewhat uninspired? It’s got nothing to do with his identity.

    He has some connection to the moon, yea, and the „moon is in the sky”. But wind and the „sky”, as in, outer space, have even less to do with each other. The only remotely sensible reason for this choice is that he „likes to fly”, like, aerial assaults. Which is quite a feeble reason for his identity.
    There’s also this bit about being free. Not a single person is further from having a connection with freedom/valuing freedom than he is. He has organised his life around duty and survival. The world rests on his shoulders. He could be travelling this ruined world and frivolously spending his wealth, enjoying while he can. Like the wind, never staying in one place, free and unfettered.

    Now I’m starting to think it’s not just uninspired, but a contradiction in characterisation. Though a slight one.

      The main character is too limited in his abilities. Some are watching him, others are putting a spoke in his wheel. The Shadow of the Empire, and a father who won't stand by his side. The main character does not have psychological support. Don't forget how he grew up in the family.
