      the manhua is far behind and the novel is already finished, I don't know where to start but I finished the novel and it is too good "not to forget I read the MTL... so that is how good it is lol"
      I am planning on going for the manhua when it is finished just to see what it looks like, I started reading the novel at chapter 600 at the time, and after seeing how good it was I reread the chapters I read in the manhua because I found out that some things are not accurate, like characters looks and stuff in manhua which was kinda annoying
      so this is the difference between them, you can choose to keep going for the manhua or the novel

    Good novel, I’ve read up until 5900 only shy of 100 before the ending of the novel. The current arc with the emperors and dragon clan and what not, basically where the proper translation is at the time of this post. It’s all pretty good a solid 4.4/5 for me. It goes a bit downhill in the next mega arc or saga if you’d call it, it’s a bit disappointing.
    Aside from that final saga, everything before was enjoyable for the most part.

    This novel is actually finished in the raws at chapter 6009 I think. If they proceed updating 4 chapters a day it'll still take more than two years to finish. As for the content of the novel, dunno I only read the manga(dunno Chinese equivalent is called) and dropped it at some point, but that was a long time ago and I barely remember

      bruh it came out in 2013 half the shit you're reading probably came out of it and Martial World and the other novels at the time,so.. what creativity are you talking about lol

      if you want a personal reason, it is my first novel and what got me to read novels.
      still I gave it 4.2 overall rating to be fair.
      and these are my reasons:

      1-the SCs are pretty good as his woman and friends which are not annoying and likeable, yeah he left some behind when he moved on or became stronger(the girls that liked him but he didn't and friends) but it is realistic how many can say they are still have their friends from primary school at college? and that was only like 8 years in between not to mention 100s and 1000s of years.

      2-the MC doesn't have a cheat or anything like that and get through with hard work only it is reasonable and realistic and even when he is stronger than people at the same level he is not so much stronger just a reasonable amount depending on his foundations in the prev realm to be known as a strong but not the strongest, till the end at least.

      3-he is also not ruthless like now days and ain't a beta either he does very well at being a badass without needing to do something ruthless, the MC personality is the kind you would just like without the need to comment he is a dick or a pssy.
      which is rare in today's novels.

      4-the world building is also pretty good and universe and all of that are nice to read about.

      5-the story has one thing from the start which is he wanting to reach the martial peak and it keeps going till he does and yeah there are arcs but it is not like he gonna sit and cultivate till he is a god lol.

      6-the author never stopped writing only when he really had to cus of health reasons and wrote at least 2 chapters daily for like 8 years which is amazing.

      the story got dragged at the end but that was 5000+ chapters which I bet you didn't read that far but still..
      7-got a good ending and over all story.

      so how is it a 2.5 stars!?
      I get it not everyone would like the same things but even sometimes when I read novels I don't like I would be fair with if it is just not my genre or if it is a trash

      When you say that this lacks creativity you have to realize that many of the tropes in xianxias were started (or cemented) by this and a couple other novels at the time. This was creative. That is like saying Lord of The Flies isn't creative as it's a bunch of kids in an island survival story and, since it's come out, so many other novels have done the same thing.

        You did not understand what i meant by creativity. The story is repetitive and many plotlines are forced. Therefore, it isn't creative. In the first 200 chapters, the same plotline gets repeated too often. MC goes somewhere, new girl found, some faceslapping, repeat. I remember that the mc literally randomly ran somewhere and got lost. If that's not a lack of creativity, I don't know what is. No effort was put in to make that make sense.

If I don't like the newer ones because they use stupid exaggerated tropes, why would I like this one that uses the same tropes? Just because they did it first? The first basketball players were part-time janitors. Objectively, they sucked at the game. I won't give them respect just because they were the first. I give respect to the best.

      As a reader who has read to 4000 chapters, I can guarantee that the story in the latter chapters is much more interesting than the earlier chapters.

        idk man emperor domination is good but I am already on 2800 chapter and its kinda boring to me because MC is literally overpowered and I already know that he will win every fight there is only little cultivation from MC and there is never life and death situation because MC is already stronger than everyone in the whole realm :D gloom

          It's inevitable that mc will always win in almost every novel. Even when your heart is racing because some shit is about to go down, just know one way or another, the mc will still come out at the top so that he can finish the plot.

            yeah thats true, but in nearly every novel there is actually a lot of life and death situations where MC have to flee for his life or something like that, but in Emperor Domination you just already know that MC will be able to defeat literally anyone and becomes boring in my opinion.

      Dunno, I checked emperor's domination out not too long ago, it lives up to its name at least with how dominating the mc is but things get very convoluted with friends, maids, fiancees, different worlds, different reincarnations and realms and a bunch of other people revolving around the mc. He's got that "good to me, I'm amazing to you. Bad to me, I'll ruin you" ideal.

    I would just call out that the version of the translation here is not the best quality to have. I would recommend the original translator's site "Diving Dao Library" as you'll find newer edited chapters, a much better reading experience from the first chapter.
