I don't see how the possible events you describe would make a sequel "crappy" if done right. Not to say that they are unlikely to actually happen. For all I know, there will be a third book, so some of these events could happen, but not now and not without a reason.

The things you described doesn’t make story bad even if they gonna happen, everything comes to how author writes it. If some members of the tarot club die some people not gonna like it for sure, but that’s the price of a thrilling story where no-one is safe.

If the sequel is crappy then we will change our ratings but why can't we give 5 stars rn? There's a rating system and it doesn't have a lock on it, the current chapters are great, and the story is great so 5 stars, simple... It's a sequel, it's only right that you have some faith and trust in the author if u have decided to read the first AND the second book that the author has decided to write. If we are going to judge every book the same way then what's the point of it being a sequel, cuttlefish is a good author, he worked really hard on LOTM, he deserves respect, and he deserves this love and a 5-star rating, he put blood sweat and tears in the 1st book and now he is reaping the rewards...

2 chapters a day so 60 chapters a month, if i can hold on for 2 months, i can wait out until the end of the first arc. Cuttlefish books get really good after the first arc so im just here hoping i can hold out until then.
