Pros

1) The novel story & world background is good. Just suggestion that author should have write more chapters on dungeon & towers

2) I like some the skills combination of MC I e combo of skills i.e random consolidation, random dice, synthesis & Four-colored Enchant which properly uses MC high luck stat.

3) Other Characters are also designed good .

4) The different arc aren't too long with steady increase of plot

Cons

1) This novel has speciality for creating unnecessary misunderstanding btw characters. It was frustrating to watch MC create unnecessary feelings btw different FMC and MC. And MC doesn't even resolve or clear that misunderstanding.

2) At starting arcs MC plays passive role in plot despite knowing that he requires SP point to get stronger which could only be earn by playing active role in plot.

3) At starting plot MC could try to get gift which can increase his physical stats which he knows, are his weakness but he doesn't. He always goes for temporary power-ups or increase in strength with side effects

4) Similarly at start plot there were many chances for MC to become strong like using , which should have unlocked a special stat for him.

5) MC has not properly used some of skills that should have him more stronger such Clockhand Of Fate in which he could have 300% increase in stats against selected opponents.

6) Author also had dropped special stat when it was near it's completion i.e 8/9


Conclusion
So, overall the story development and it's background is good. The End had little unsettling feeling but it was good overall. I would recommend to read BUT I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU READ AUTHOR POV AFTER YOU READ THIS NOVEL. Mostly people will find this novel blend and not good after they read AUTHOR POV because it mostly cover up negative points of The Novel's Extra

I read through this and the nationalism put me off. Is it worth it to push through?

First, let me say, the novel is a gem. Its good in the story and whats below is my rants about the epilogue so no need to worry about that. The main novel is good only even till the end of it.






But what spoils the ending is that there is no closure with any of the girls who were possible love interests.

In my opinion, Boss (Yi Byul) was the best but the author never showed what happened at the end. As for Chae Nayun I would have liked her to be with Kim Suho but he already has someone else. Besides, she gives the little sister vibes which kinda throws her off of being fmc. Then comes Yoo Yeonha who I really feel like she should remain in friend zone.

The author put alternate endings with Chae Nayun, Yeonha and Rachel but didnt put the main ending with Boss why? Yi Byul was clearly the best girl (Kim Hajin clearly likes her compared to others where his feelings are somewhat mixed).

I read some part of the epilogue but couldnt read more cuz I never liked Rachel as being a fmc.


Problem is author never tried to make this a harem. If he did do that it would have been so much better... Oh I missed Jin Sahyuk I think but whatever

I realized what is true!!! This bastard protagonist started smoking! It is because of this that he has no love, he is weak, and depressed. I felt disgusted with him when he lit a cigarette! And I was right! Then it's his karma for this disgusting act. He lost love + she also lit up and got karma by losing him. Have you seen him happy after smoking? Of course not! This is karma - you can't smoke!!!

The novel isn’t bad, but I have to say, after reading “The Villain Wants to Live”, “the novel’s extra” is a bit of a downgrade. The author clearly put in less effort into his characters. They are all unique but instead of building up their relationship properly, the author actually decided to use misunderstandings instead. I mean some really cliche misunderstandings. Like seriously 90 chapters in and we have so many misunderstandings that it’s annoying at this point, and I really imagine it’s only going to get worse. A few people will say “well it’s because the mc’s luck is just that high” but seriously, no.

Let’s also not mention that the mc is ridiculously weak even 100 chapters in. That’s a quarter of the novel gone and the mc is still the weakest, he just relies on luck and misunderstandings to get through. He also wastes SP, like really really wastes sp. So far he’s only created one good gift which is the sharpshooter. The second gift is just really really useless, and judging by the structure of power in the novel, the effect of that second gift is something he could’ve probably added to an artifact instead of wasting 1 of the 3 slots on it.

I will continue and see how this goes, but I have to say I’m just pushing through since I have hope. The fact that the author could write “The Villain Wants to Live” means that the author is very good, hopefully this improves later.
