Ah, it’s usually stories like this that make me hope for romance. But I’m 23 now, and I think any chance of getting genuine romance like this is going down as I get older. Especially in our generation. Even if I do get a girlfriend or wife in the future I feel like it would be hard to actually have pure romance like this. That innocent and pure feeling of romance is so hard to get, harder to find than riches. Maybe I’m just starving, that’s why I’m so desperate and have low hope. People usually say I’m not looking in the right places, but I don’t even know where to look. And I’m too much of a coward to pull myself together and get out of my comfort zone, telling myself “I need to be financially ready first” or “I don’t want to waste my time”, and so I haven’t changed in years. Hopefully something changes in the future, life is just too boring. Now I can only read stories like this to get some sort of feeling for romance. Time to read for the third time. (Please forgive my rant, I can say this nowhere else so it’s bottled up. It’s embarrassing to me too, but I’ll be a little willful and post it anyways) If anyone has any novel or even a manwha/manga/any sort of literature recommendations that can relate to my situation, I would appreciate it. I’m no longer a high school student and most of the romance stories out there are for younger students so I can’t relate much.

Read till ch150 and I have been loving it so far! Mc and female lead are both great and I like their personality. The romance is perfect and the best I have read so far in cultivation novels. The translation isn’t the best but it’s not so bad either, it doesn’t interfere with me enjoying the novel. know

I’m struggling to read past the first several chapters with how adolescent the story is. I feel myself cringing the whole time. Does the story get any better later on?

I can’t believe this is the same author who wrote LOTM.

It has an excellent balance of romance and martial arts. The story is mainly focused on “sports,” as the tags suggest, but that doesn’t take away from its merit. If you’re expecting a mc who kills indiscriminately or a typical cultivation novel, I’m afraid this story isn’t for you. It’s a very enjoyable story, honestly. There was a point where the translation drops a bit, but it soon picks up again, so if you want to read something fresh, jump in without fear. Cuttlefish doesn’t disappoint; this is the third story I’ve read by this author after ToMA and Embers Ad Infinitum (being this the best one I’ve read), and all of them are quite solid. I only have LOTM left, but I’m saving it for later.

I read this novel for the 3rd time, and only now did it felt uncomfortable to read. The romance was too much for me. The novel feels like 60% romance and 40% martial arts. Romance is too immature too but realistic, makes you reminisce your highschool puppy love. But its just too much (for me now that I tend to avoid romance/harem genres compred to 2-3 yrs ago).

If you plan to read this remember the reviews might not always be as reflective as to show how good the novel is some people might enjoy this and move on others might not like this and make a comment just remember 66.8% of readers gave this 5 stars the majority so give this a try before diving deep within the depths of the comments also don’t forget this was made by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving so there might be some LOTM or COI spoilers or similarities so be careful
