Eli was transmigrated to a world of magic and became immortal.

He had endless life and could never die.

“Huh? I’m talentless? Then, I’ll just train for as long as I need, even if it takes 1000 years. That should be enough for me to become strong.”

“The skill is hard to learn? Then, I’ll take a few dozens of years to research it. There’s no way it’s that hard, right?”

“What? I can sacrifice my life force to gain spirit power? That’s a bargain!”

“The enemy is here? Hell, I’ll just hide for 10000 years. Let’s see if he can outlive me. I’ll come out once he’s dead.”

This is the story of an immortal who first struggled to live in the world of magic until he became strong enough to slaughter endless worlds. Collapse

Novel is so so, nothing outstanding. Typical Chinese novel. Bring up a scenario that only the MC can fix or is conveniently there to resolve. MC is immortal, so what, he couldn't have a wife/girlfriend/lover or kids, lame excuse. So he can have friends, weeping for them when they die, but no actual family member, and we're not counting MC's teacher. The years pass by like flipping pages in a book in a rush, so what I'm saying is so much skipped years with little progress in power on MC part. Also there is one big gapping hole in this novel, and that's, why haven't the warlocks taken over the countries already since there are none to no mages to stop them, and warlocks are way stronger than grand nights. Overall I wouldn't recommend this novel unless u gots free time to waste.

You haven't read Divine Tier Providence aren't you? Because if you didn't you must be one of those who loves to read braindead, garbage, overrated novels who focuses on harem and sex. Touch some grass will you?oru2x

      Also for this:

C'mon man atleast use the remaining 1 brain cell of your brain there are so many reasons that still hasn't revealed yet because it still on early chapters for example what do they get when they are interacting to mortals? Absolutely nothing. Therefore I must say think before you type because it is internet it doesn't mean you cannot think properly.

To proof your point as I read all of the raws available at the moment.
Without much spoilers on my side, the warlocks control like 99% of the land (human territory, not ocean) and the reason they dont care about the kingdoms is that they dont get anything out of it as this is all wasteland that could not even grow first ring ressources. I hope that answers that point.

To summarise in a basic way

Imagine if han jue was in the world of mages, with immortality being his power instead of the system

Nah. Han Jue is nowhere near the same as Eli. Han Jue just hides and cultivates. Eli hides nothing except his power level and immortality. Other than that Eli just does normal things except a bit more introverted with the occasional secret experiments. Nowhere near as boring as how I found Han Jue.

    Rank C.
Coincidentally I was seeing this a few hours ago on Mtl

this remains rank C, I honestly did not understand why the 15 dowvot, I simply evaluated this novel according to what I read in the Chinese raw, and honestly it became much worse, Of course the novel is really good (still rank C), but the mc became a "barbarian" For the author's convenience, the author has ignored any modern mc knowledge be it physics, biology or chemistry,

And not! you do not need to be trained in such an area to acquire knowledge applicable in real life,

I just want to say something I wise man once said...

hello children, I'm guessing you will ignore the comment section, but with school coming (where i live anyways) on January 5th, I've anyways come to warn y'all.
last year was shit for me. Before the break started, I constantly read, spending around 6-10 hours a day solely on reading, even disregarding projects, homework, and most importantly, grades. I had a very, if not terrible report card (progress report, whatever), if you want to call it, before break, I would say that was a "wake-up call" for me. Most of you guys on this website are curious 13 year old's tryna act cool or 15-23 years old having insufficient funds to pay, or don't want to pay at all. Pull your shit together, adulthood is closer than you think, and if you want to excel with more than just a 5-digit middle to low-class job, focus on your academic work. take minor breaks on lesser homework, and put in your all into projects. Pay attention during normal / online class because yes, I know some of you read during classes. just wanted to say to take a break from ranobes, because likely it's gonna mess you up pretty badly right now.

this novel is pretty good, 4.1/5, it something to read casually. The plot itself isn’t anything to write home about but it’s intriguing nonetheless.

Spoiler tag isn’t work for me, so don’t read if you don’t want spoilers.

The mc come from earth into the body of a low talented librarian. Mc somehow gets unlimited life force and is an immortal, he uses hundreds of year to become a rank one mage. That pretty much a small summary without spoiling too much

    Edit -
Just realized I pretty much re wrote the synopsis lol

Have read up to current chapter (133) and imo it's a good read, provided you can ignore/overlook issues with the translation quality.

The story itself is pretty good. MC isn't extremely talented nor does he focus solely on work all the time. He instead knows that he has basically Infinite lifespan and so he uses that to his advantage. He spends time researching multiple spells/fields to a degree which normal mages wouldn't bother with due to their limited lifespan. Given his lifespan, he doesn't rush things, though he does work to develop Potions to help him, which makes sense imo. Just because he doesn't have a limit on lifespan doesn't mean that he doesn't like progressing at a faster rate. These potions (especially the second version) take many many years to research and test, so it's not like he's rushing anything.

Whilst he is still weak, he does his best to be as lowkey as possible whilst still ensuring his interests are met. Even after he gets stronger, he still maintains this type of philosophy, but adjusts the level of it to match his power, which is really nice.

In terms of his attitude, he isn't ruthless but he also isn't particularly moralistic. If someone is an obstacle or threatens him/his lifestyle, he will work to get them removed/killed, but he doesn't go around killing wildly. In terms of human experimentation, which is the usual for these wizard/Mage novels, he does do some later on, but only with criminals or willing volunteers and does mention that he doesn't feel comfortable killing innocents. That might change in the future, as he gets stronger, but this is true for now at least.

The main issue with the novel, which I'm sure nobody will argue with, is the quality of the translation. There are a LOT of issues with names and genders changing around. Also quite a few sentences just don't really make much sense.

Despite that, it is definetly better than the MTL. I checked out the MTL via the "Links" section here and it is so much worse than this, which is really saying something.

Overall, for me at least, the story itself is good and interesting enough for me to deal with the translation quality.
