Eli was transmigrated to a world of magic and became immortal.

He had endless life and could never die.

“Huh? I’m talentless? Then, I’ll just train for as long as I need, even if it takes 1000 years. That should be enough for me to become strong.”

“The skill is hard to learn? Then, I’ll take a few dozens of years to research it. There’s no way it’s that hard, right?”

“What? I can sacrifice my life force to gain spirit power? That’s a bargain!”

“The enemy is here? Hell, I’ll just hide for 10000 years. Let’s see if he can outlive me. I’ll come out once he’s dead.”

This is the story of an immortal who first struggled to live in the world of magic until he became strong enough to slaughter endless worlds. Collapse

    Im finally dropping this novel.

    - Everytime, someone attack and people start talking how mc is stupid for not surrendering blah blah and he do something impressive and everyone be like 'OMG sir hermon is the goat' 'we knew it' blah blah

    - Enemy see they cant win but still keep sending more people their logic, 'ive invested too much to accept defeat or other faction in my sect will never let it go' which ends up killing off the entire sect.

    - Jusst after defeating one enemy their superior sect find out vow to kill mc BUT after 50-100 years since they need to let him grow stronger.

    - Rinse and repeat with a different name. Seriously, author dont even bother changing events anymore except names, immortality is a covinent excuse for him to say history repeat or people repeat the same mistake since those who remember already died so this new people gonna do the same thing.

Its getting so repetitve, as soon as he beat one enemy we learn of someone one stage stronger who'll come for him....but...not right away, they'll wait a few decades for one reason or another and when they come mc already become just strong enough to beat them in one slap.... and as soon as that enemy die we learn of someone one stage stronger...

you get what i mean, this thing keep happening and it wasnt so bad a few time in the beginning but i feel exhausted at this point, i dont think i can read the same story again and again with just minor changes.

Agreed. That mc's immortality seems more real and he also take full advantage of it with forbidden spells. Here, mc keep saying he got unlimited vitality but we hardly see him use it for anything other than regular lifespan. Even when he get powerful spells that power with vitality he'd use them alittle and move on or forget about it.

Why? The Translator team is doing good in My opinnion. Three chapters per day and they're not dividing chapters to multiple parts either. The real evil is the Translator of "Unscientific Beast Taming"
and "As An Immortal, I Only Learn Forbidden Skills" (they've been doing some naughty things recently)

I don't read it yet, but I read 2 novels with similar troops... And the most annoying part is killing characters of old age to highlight his immortality... Like why? Many authors let Level 1 characters live to the end of the novel with no problem even when the protagonist constantly seeking death for himself and those around him, but when the protagonist becomes super cautious all his early friends and acquaintances die!

Are you blind? The first thing I literally said is that I read 2 similar novels, and I was talking about the concept in general, not this novel in particular, So if you have nothing meaningful to say then shut up.

          I'M GONNA SAY THIS AGAIN.

          BECAUSE

          IT'S

          THE

          WHOLE

          POINT

          OF THE

          PLOT/STORY!

What is the point of creating and introducing immortal PROTAGONIST then? You are just confusing yourself what a dum dum

            No, it's not.
The whole point is the protagonist uses his advantage to raise in power slowly, but nerfing every other character's lifespan is just for highlighting his cheat power, nothing more.

Also, Did you just say... what a dum dum?
That was so amusing to the point I can not get angry with you.🤭

What do you mean 'nerfing other characters lifespan'? People get old and die, it's pretty normal. If you were immortal, everyone around you would grow old and die. How is the author gonna not include that in the story? Otherwise everyone would have to be immortal, which would be a completely different story entirely.

Because in those novels the mc literally becomes god in like 10 years somehow. This is a story about an immortal.

Will I know that, but can't they introduce important characters that can raise their cultivation level high enough so they would not die from old age before the novel end you can find the cultivation in the non-i6mmortal MC novels that can raise your lifespan ridiculously high (like in tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands)

But in novels like this one, you would read how the cultivation barely extended your lifespan... They change the system like that just to highlight the unique cheat of the MC and my mood is dumped every time I read about the death of a character as I realize how lonely the story is.

...then don't read a story where the MC is an immortal from the start?

What you're basically finding an issue with is literally one of the KEY parts of stories like this; how the MC deals with outliving those he grows up with etc.

It's basically the same as complaining that you don't like MCs using their Systems in a novel with a System. Or you don't like MCs collecting Pets in a novel about Pet Training...

It is necessary to highlight the difference. If everyone had an extremely long lifespan, the MC's advantage from his immortality would be negligible if not downright nonexistent.

The title potrays immortality so if everyone has long life that is close to immortality then it would be pointless and the title has to be Changed to another thing haven't you read novels like vampire system where everyone has a system but mc own is different cuz that is what the Title potrays and besides what you say is pointless cuz if they have that cultivation they will still grow old as they are not immortal

Huh? Bro what? I don't know what you mean by
let Level 1 characters live to the end of the novel with no problem
but you understand that anyone dying of old age is literally just how living beings work, right? It's not highlighting immortality. If anything, it's highlighting the passing of time, which to be fair is kind of related to immortality. But I'd assume highlighting the passing of time is to ensure the readers aren't confused by various things around the MC.
E.g. MC spends 200 years constantly studying, but the author somehow doesn't highlight the passing of time. MC leaves his house to find the medieval city looking all futuristic due to technological advancements.
With the readers having no idea 200 years have passed it'd seem like the MC went to research for 'a long time', left his house to go for a walk and the entire area looks like a new world. Readers would likely be confused (Just like the MC who likely didn't keep track of time), thinking the MC was transported to another world.
      :P

It is a good novel to read for a while, it is entertaining and it gets more and more interesting, the only bad thing is that most of Eli's friends die of old age, every 100 chapters his friends die, and there are some who are still alive after 2000 years old, romance wise there isn't, but the mc has his lovers so to speak, and ps the volumes go that he gets strong over time and then changes maps
