Growing up with eccentric materialist parents, who left him in the care of his grandfather for a job overseas, Zhang Heng had learned to adapt and be unfettered by the oddities and challenges in life. But he would soon learn the baffling truth about the world he thought he knew, when one day at midnight, time froze and he found himself in a world so quiet and still it was deafening.

That night, he discovered that he had 24 hours more than everybody else and thus, marked the beginning of his adventures. The mysteries surrounding his newfound ability only deepened when a strange old man claimed to have given Zhang Heng that ‘gift of time’ and recruited the young man to participate in a cryptic ‘life-changing’ game on his behalf. Little did Zhang Heng know that accepting those terms meant embroiling himself in many versions of reality and exposing himself to the hidden secrets of the world a decision he could never undo. Does it thought? Does it really? or did the author get bored himself and decided to skip the remaining 8 years in a few paragraph, which makes no sense considering how i had read through hundred of snail paced chapter which could've included tons of adventures and stories. @Aneilyn you made the smart choice here.

Very sooo slow narration, the plot is quite confusing. I finished reading to chapter 500, and it seemed to me that the author himself understood the error and began to somehow explain what was happening to the reader.
It feels like I'm watching 100 fillers in anticipation of a new episode. Most of the abilities gained during side stories that you will probably forget to your hero will never come in handy. The author tries to get creative, but it only leads to more confusion, so much so that by the end of Chapter 300, you will feel like watching a Spanish TV show that spans a whole season, just to tell you later that Pedro is not your brother.

the story doesn't have those OP MC that doing face slapping right and left, with super deus-ex-machina, nor super fast cultivation, but the MC don't have any glaring weakness, he's f#cking smart, shrewd, thorough, ruthless, calm & collected, cold, and yet he cares deeply towards his closest persons, he can keep secrets, he collects his debts and remember kindness he received. I'm on ch. 900-ish and overal 10/10

this tittle has some most amazing arcs i've read, it has the dumb ones, thrilling ones, adventurous ones, and many more. there are stories between story and it's captivating imo, and the most important point is the story didn't have those annoying women who brought with them useless side plots. this story reminded me of the time i read my #1 story of all time: Lord of The Mysteries, if you think this is like the usual stories then you'd be wrong, this is some next level shit

Does the MC get supernatural powers later in the story, except for extra 24 hours? Or the skills he masters are only limited to "mortal"?

I'd say this is a good novel. At first.
I'd still recommend you give this a try though, I haven't caught up to the latest chapter and really have no clue how well this novel is actually going to become.

But for real, the first few chapters were joyous to read. I binged them, and maybe if you don't have same high standards and like to plough through novels like a bulldozer, I'd definitely recommend this novel to you.
Actually, I'd recommend this novel to anyone. satisfied

        What happened to me... :/
Also, at the start, all the novels seem very new and original. But later on, once you've read more novels, you realize they are all the same and at that point things get really bland.
That's why I stopped reading novels as often as I used to. butwhy

Agent games actually very good (except first) and novel become better, space station game my favorite part of novel.
Mc's loosing emotions is important part of near to end plot and this is a reason his "chosen one" status.
I didn't read to the end, but i barely can see it and i don't like it. However its good story, one of the best in world hopping genre.
