      A shit ton, passive skill got better but not OP, but I am kinda sick of how the story is progressing, it keep pushing the boundary of harem and face slapping and enemies, like same shit keep happening again and again.

        He don’t want to get into troubles and those type of stuff in fact he avoids them but they still come to find him All thanks to the emperor scripture destiny that tied him. And as for girls I can’t say it’s harem because he don’t want any type of romance because all he cares is immortality and the girls are the ones flocking to him like chicks because of their circumstances other than that he like being low as possible and he went as far as practicing a present reduction technique to blend in with crowd so he won’t get noticed. As the technique human emperor scripture isn’t the most powerful because it is an outdated cultivation technique and he needs to collect other types of human emperor techniques because he can’t continue the journey without making his own human emperor technique and I guess he might make the one that involves increasing his lifespan and power.

          No I don't think he avoid troubles at all it's all for the plots sake of the cold girl harem saving him he knew he couldn't actually that demon and could've easily run away but he still sticks around even after he almost gets killed and heals himself and kills him he still sticks around while the girl runs away after she is done using him to die if it wasn't for the city's patriach he would've died a several times already due to his carelessness but only thanks girls who bought him trouble and little benefits I never see him thanking or repaying anyone except girls infact he has already killed a few guys who helped him while a few of those deserved it there were few who didn't he never thanked city Lord it's pretty obvious he helped him btw and that shop guy who bought up a death match or he wouldve just killed that guy who btw was brought because of a girl helps later he would kill that guy and would just get hunted and killed he didn't have a second life then we didn't see him thanking those guys to be honest he related 2 chances of getting treasure first from the void emperor and then than from that devil guy who was sealed they we're pretty high level treasures I think he could risk getting them especially because he already had a second life then but he doesn't or he could you know easily join a faction in that extreme eastern land we already know there is the a demon faction who treats their members well but no he teams up with parasite girls.we can see he hasa bit of masochistic tendencies towards some girls who he founds beautiful.

    After now reaching chapter 158, i have two pet peeves with the novel, firstly, its world or at least the part of the world the mc is in, is HEAVILY inspired by reverend insanity (which, if you haven't read, what are you even doing). Secondly, he doesn't cultivate passively, rather, he has passive skills and also cultivates (some do help indeed). Other than that, the novel is fine, not a gem but definitely worth a try.

    Anyone who gives this novel more than one star, sucks. It is simply a cheap copy of any novel of the wuxia and xianxia genre, there is nothing new, it does not stand out in any aspect and even the mc becomes more stupid over time. Not even "its strong point" stands out, the gore just sucks.
