An INCREDIBLY strong start, an MC that starts from nothing and has to be ruthless and cunning just to survive, sacrificing longevity for a short-term boost in power. It's truly intriguing and exciting to read that is... until after the gu arc where the MC's personality is incredibly inconsistent and the author forgot what made his book unique and exciting. Previously MC would ignore cliches and handle things his way making for exciting and comedic moments, now it's just, MC goes into town, sees jade beauty, and jade beauty makes him attract attention. I really thought his ruthlessness and drive would help him be a stand-in for Fang Yuan (from Reverend Insanity) that many readers have been looking for yet this novel has the same problem as Supreme Lord Shapeshifter, the MC sharts off incredibly ruthless which is entertaining and then adds on morals for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Don't even get me started on when he gets . It irks me that a book that broke so many cliches is adding every single one they can get, arrogant young masters, competitions over jade beauties, saving damsels in distress. This man is literally supposed to be a ruthless loner who solely relies on his passive system yet he'll put himself in danger to save his "friend" (chick he met 2-3 times) when previously he was untrusting of anyone. It seems less like character development and just the author having a mid-life crisis while writing this book. So the part, where he's in the academy, is good but quickly goes downhill after. I didn't expect to write so much I've just been reading this since it had only 50chapters and myself, and I'm sure others are disappointed in the direction this novel is going. Dropped.

The more I read the more I feel that he is stupid at least go to some place where you can get some knowledge for f#cks sake.

It started decent enough, but it's a downwards spiral past the gu part. Everything after gu is rehashed to infinity and the mc loses 1 IQ point every 2 chapters.

It starts off very good. I came here expecting a evil Mc but it's very confusing sometimes he's evil sometimes he kind. The author can't decide the mc's character. After 10 chapters this starts to become like every other shitty fic.. Girls falling for the Mc, face slapping, Mc having the human emperor technique(the most powerfulest technique in ancient time), arrogance and stupidity. Saying he wants to be low key but in the end doing the opposite. So if you have come for a fic with a proper plot don't read this trash
