At Ch 369 and I'm of the opinion that , unless you have a lot of time to kill, don't even bother. The story is good but the progression is toooooooo slow. His story seems to be just starting for real but it's still tooooooooooooo slow.

Pros: Very good characters, even the side characters have a good amount of thought put into them
Romance seems to be alright, considering the very little that is shown
The fights are incredibly hype

Cons: Very impulsive and arrogant mc, often makes brash decisions
Plot is slow, a bunch of chapters feel like nothing really happened as they're spent explaining the various intricacies of the power system or some new treasure the mc found.
Ignore the description describing the mc's talent. He's talented but he gets his ass whooped so many times it hardly matters. Also part of why the plot is so slow.
World building is meh. It almost feels like the author is doing too much with the power system while the physical world feels neglected.

This isn't an op mc novel. A ton of people call the author a masochist for making the mc go through the pain that he does. However, the payoff, that being the fights and the powerups, make the pain of going through the slow chaps, worth it in my opinion. I find the mystery of whether or not the mc will lose, a bit refreshing tbh.

If you want to read ahead just search up the novels previous name, Rise Rising Risen and it will come up but its only like 50 ahead
