A young boy named Tang Jie was searching for a path into immortalhood when he happened to save an immortal in need, resulting in the latter owing him a karmic debt.

What? You want to repay me with mere Spiritual Enhancement Pills? Is that how cheap you view your life to be?

As a result, Xu Muyang ended up having to drag the brat with him.

You’ll never shake me off now, thought Tang Jie. Collapse

Story was really good until he stayed in his original world but soon he starts going through the world's it became exhausting to read. Also, another user pointed out, mc goes out on adventures which last up to 100 chapters...initially I found them interesting but as story progresses they felt more and more like side quests than actual story.

Its ok not great, it has some elements that are good but others that dont realy fit. As a whole it also sometimes (even tho subtle) changes how things work or were, so that they make sense(the mc is often tried to be painted as this mastermind who is 50 Steps ahead yet relies on luck for about 90% of his plans and often get beaten), its a bit annoying. I think you might like it if that isnt a problem, but if you want a mc who knows what he is than youre not right here he is both ruthless and kind in an pretty random way same for other characteristics (which is the part that is mostly subtly changed sometimes)

It's good, but after the academy it always seems like it's some vibe where he is on the run or excruciating long tasks (with each task arc feeling when done takes up 20% of total chapters you read so far.) Just makes you want to start skipping over all these little side quests. It is nice they do some realistic time skips. Overall it's well written, just the kind of well written adventure type I'm not fond of. Other novels it might because it seems like MC has little attachment for wherever they are at, but this novel just get bored and want to skip to the part where he gets back, rewarded, and then finally consolidate his gains.

    Review: cap 49

    A good cultivation novel.

The levels are well explained and the world is ok so far.

Some negative points for me, with some minor spoiler: the author wants to convey that the mc is very smart, It seems like he knows more than everyone, even the cultivators, since he hasn't even really started cultivating yet, just spent a few months with a cultivator.

Other point, there are many people looking for the MC because of an item, and when he enters the academy to cultivate, he starts shouting and attracting everyone's attention, even wanting to teach and give life lessons to everyone after.

Bro, only stay low key and start your cultivation to be more strong.

I don't like MCs who need to keep attracting other people's attention, but it's a good novel. I'll continue because I have nothing else to read.
