The Beginning After The End by TurtleMe

This is one of those well-written novels that have one or two things that take it down a notch. Unfortunately, those "one or two" things can be quite divisive leaving people like me to hate it. It's like what if someone serves you an amazing steak but there's just a tinsy-weensy teeny-tiny piece of shit in the plate.

To me what I hated about it are mostly two things, some parts seem forced like it's very blatant that the author wanted something to happen but couldn't figure out how to make it happen organically. The other thing I hate about this is the illogical reaction that the MC has after something happened, he blamed himself when there's literally 100 other people to blame before him.

There are a few gripes here and there as well but it's mostly those two because it looks like a very poor attempt by the author for something to happen or to induce some kind of direction for the story or mc, I just thought it was stupid.

NORMALLY, these types of things won't be a deal breaker except for the fact that the story seems to take itself fairly seriously. When there's a flaw in a story that takes itself seriously, that flaw is magnified because we are also expected to take that story seriously.

If you're a fan of progression fantasy then you should definitely give it a try.

Guys, if anybody has read the beginning after the end ( I mean novel not manga), can they please explain the tessias situation, was she raped by nico or not or she is in relationship with him and forgot about Artur, or they didnt have anything and she waits for him ( I know that her body is possesed by cecilia, but i still want to know including when she took over tessias body) ( sorry for mistakes, hope you understand)

- magic world but with a twist

- the protagonist character were well done and he acknowledges his mistakes to make it his strong points
Story progression: 8/10
- typical. neither slow nor fast. just normal
Plot: 10/10
- It feels natural and doesn't feel off
Writing Quality: 9/10
- its fluid and smooth
Battle scenes: 1000000/10
- so detailed and fascinating. fighting events happens frequently too
Character interactions: 9/10
- the pov sometimes change from protagonist to his family which sometimes kills your excitement but the interactions between them are entertaining nonetheless.
Overall one of the best novels I've ever read, deserves to be on the top rankings. The 1st 100th chapters were an intro to the main story. It's a 1st POV so you can expect there to be a lot of explanation and whatnots but doesn't feel boring. Definitely recommended for those who like action novels but this is somewhat unique. a must-read novel
