The story is good. The dynamic between the MC and the students are great, the backstories are interesting with how they bring it up. For the most part the grammar is good but they do make the same mistake in calling his master a he instead of a she for most of the story which was annoying. The theories are good and entertaining. There's enough face slapping where it will make the audience happy but not too much where it's repetitive and boring. The one thing i didnt like was the villain organization of Black Dawn and it's members. That plot of the story had 0 interest for me so after the couple of arcs, i started skim their stories. I cant really tell much about how op the MC is.

One of the best korean novels I've read. Basically, this novel perfectly fitted with the ideal 'teacher' MC I wanted (not like some chinese novel where the teacher/master just provide resources to his students/disciple). The plot and world background was also well thought out, adding the unique personalities of the characters, it is certainly a 9/10.

If you like The Villain Wants To Live, you should read this one too.
The writing makes it a little hard to read at the beginning but it's not that bad, the story is worth it. In this one, at first, we know little about the mc ( that he isn't just some ordinary guy and many of his other identities), but we get to know more about him, and the other character's stories as it goes on. The first chapters weren't that good but it get's more interesting, especially around the time we get to know more about what happened in the Kingdom of Delica . I just love that the updates arent't slow, i'm dying to see the encounter of MC and his Teacher.

I'm sure this is a great novel to read, but unfortunately, I don't like novels where MCs are constantly walking on eggshells. (even more so when MCs are weak but are misunderstood to be strong, causing them put on a front of being strong when it's quite the opposite)

It’s not bad but lemme just tell you this if you hate mcs that are literally the strongest in the world but act like they’re the weakest person in the whole story then you might just skip this one. Mc praises someone while saying he’ll never be able to do what they did just for him to do something even more better. The power inconsistency is quite annoying too why tf are we getting inner monologues about this dude praising others who are weaker than him, less knowledgeable than him while putting himself down? Author drags the mc through the mud just for plots sake. It doesn’t even feel real everything just feels artificial. Good fantasy novels have a set of rules within the world wether that’s power levels, factions, skills ect. This like a story about Klein from lom being scared of a sequence 7 when he’s a sequence 1 it just doesn’t make sense. But unlike a novel like LOM where there are set of rules wich would keep that from happening this novel has none. You start out not knowing shit and have to wait for the author to spoon feed you shit he pulled out of his àss to keep the plot moving forward. Oh this isn’t a weak to strong story just to let you know the mf is already the strongest person from the start so him teaching at the academy doesn’t make fking sense but story would’ve been about something entirely different if he didn’t so author had to nerf him for plots sake.

This novel's translation is a bit too rough for my tastes.

I'm getting a headache trying to parse some of the poorly-formed sentences and awkward phrasings that litter the first several chapters. The dialogue feels clunky and disjointed, like having two low-quality chatbots attempt to have a conversation. And while it's obvious the original novel contains elements of a cerebral, cloak and dagger narrative; all of the subtext and subtlety this should have is muddled and fragmented.

I'm convinced this was an MTL someone tried editing.

I don't know if it gets better later, but I don't think I can make it that far.

I don't know if the quality of the translation gets better, but I am fairly certain it's the same group translating it the entire time -- at least according to novelupdates.

Edit: Actually, there's also a properly translated version of this novel out there. I'm not sure if ranobes ever gets any chapters from that source.
