A reoccurring nightmare afflicted Khan’s nights since the Second Impact. His dreams replayed the scenes of the crash of the Nak’s spaceship, an alien race that the humans had defeated five hundred years ago.

Khan’s life had turned upside-down after the tragedy. His mother had died during the incident, and the Nak’s toxic mana had infected him. His father had managed to save him, but they ended up losing their home and name in the process.

The nightmares wouldn’t let Khan forget about the Nak, so he set his mind to join the Global Army and learn to wield mana. He had to put an end to those dreams, even if that meant hunting down that alien race through the stars. Collapse

This is one of the best novels, I've ever read. From the characters that actually feel like individual people to the amazing World building and power system, even if we just saw the beginning. For me, the pacing is perfect, but for some people it could also be too slow, since he is getting stronger really slow. There is one thing I don't like, it's the girlfriends who Change all the time, like the novel doesn't have the tag Playboy, however he goes on to collect girlfriends in one place then leaves the place and gains another. 4.5/5

Bro, that’s how life works. You move schools - you change girlfriends, same with university, later you change cities due to work or other matters and you also find new partners there. This novel is so realistic, that’s why it’s the best!

Yeah that's how life works, not what the audience wants. Why do you think most novels only have one constant female lead or a harem? But the novel has neither. If you want realism then don't read fantasy...

I'm not a sucker for 'Happily Ever After', but I really dislike those f#cker who only see 'Realism' in a tragedy. If you are a sucker for so-called 'realism' go read some biography. What the heck is this 'Realism' in a Fantasy novel? Also, why is there no 'tragedy' tag in this webnovel?

Author said he stopped updating this novel to finish his other one (Birth of the Demonic Sword). Will be back to this afterwards.

I usually love reading romance in good novels, but it was so frustrating here instead that it made me quit. If i want breakups after breakups i can just focus on real life instead.

It's not what im looking for in my entertainment.

idk, loved the first 160 chapters of the novel back then but now, rereading up to the current available chapters regardless of the other events the relationships just feel way too forced. I may have to drop off here boys, it was an I guess, kinda decent ride if it werent for that.

People need to understand that having 'realism' is not always a good thing... If realism is making your novel not fun to read then what's even the point of having it? Why do we need repeated breakups and f#cked up relationships just for the sake of 'realism' when no one is enjoying it... Why can't have a semi-fantasy semi-realistic romance instead of the unconformable cycle of useless emotional development and discard?

Right? Nobody want to read a documentary about a fictional world. This author have good books but sometime he loses himeself in the detail too much, its similar to IET writing, they micro explain everything until you feel overwhelmed and move on.

Changes girls like gloves (like realism), the action is described in too much detail, which is not good. MC is too strange, he looks more like an ordinary soldier who knows how to fight than the main character who loves freedom and adventure. The world itself is interesting, as is the writing style, but I didn't like everything else.

Romantic storyline is overrated? Why do u even need so much of it? It's even more than in some romance concentrated stories. It's the first time i see so much romance in fantasy adventure novel except for "overpowered for shit reason mc with harem" type novels.
