Poison God's Heritage by Biako

Why are the chapters only uploaded up to 742? The not-privilege chapters on webnovel are up to 885 (at the moment). Anybody knows why?

I read up to chapter 40 and I didn't like it very much. The MC seems to me to be confused in his personality, he has lived a whole mortal life and suffered betrayals from his family, this in itself could drive someone crazy, but he has a strong mentality and overcame it, until this moment so good, but then it starts getting confused. He starts helping random people simply out of kindness, sometimes he acts naively (Ex: He tells others his cultivation secret for no reason), other times he is smart (Ex: He easily gets out of some messes in which inferior disciples they put it).

He simply seems very inconsistent in his personality, it seems to me that the author uses the MC's actions to forcefully drive the plot, he didn't know how to develop other factors for this, the MC ends up being too confused.

I won't talk about other problems like his "cheat" (Poison God Inheritance Book) which so far is clearly a powerful plot armor (Ex: The book saves him at random moments by storing his things without his request or absorbing monsters and relics without his order, he didn't even know the book did this), as this can be developed better over time, but overall it is a little poorly done, but with potential.

Thins one doesnt seem too bad. My only problem woth this one is that is different to other CN Cultivation novel.
Author's vocab is good enough but its not flowery enough unlike the cn cultivation ones were used to. Which throws me off as the convos feel so casual its awkward. The author also uses english expressions and lingos compared to the typical cn cultivation lingo were used to. so be warned if ur planning on reading this. Oh and also its first person.

As soon as the author starts making extraneous plot inserts, I immediately throw out this garbage. He loves money too much.

MC is pretty valid. He does what he wants, and the story, grammar, and flow are all really good. 4.8/5
