As promised, we'll begin with a much-needed explanation regarding what happened the last month and more. Let's begin with the update on August 10th. I'd taken a additional seasonal job position for about a month then that was heavy in overtime and double-time, sometimes pulling 15 to 16hr shifts to make due financial difficulties and living situation scare. It assited greatly at the time. However, it drained me severely both physically and mentally.

I'd adjusted fairly well. We had a very good September release rate of 30/30 without any missing days. Then, I had a familial situation develop mid October that was incredibly distracting and mentally exhausting. When that cooled down, I made a single release that I had prepared long before that happened. Unfortunately, that was not the start of an uplifting trend.

Then, it happened: I experienced the dreaded and damning Writer's Block. Likely contributed by a lot of my own mental and physical stress lately in my life. I've had this before, last time it took eight FULL months to overcome.

I simply could not write a single sentence that I felt was "okay" or "right" in my mind. I just wasn't satisfied with anything and I couldn't write up anything coherent, and what I had planned felt unworthy to be written.

That's the truth.

And unfortunately, despite being hopeful and giving myself an optimistic two-three days period of refocusing. I, with a heavy heart, am saddened to say I have yet to overcome this block.

Last time this happened, I went through an entire eight months hiatus during the early 200-300 chapters that some of you may remember. I can't promise anything except that I intend to continue trying. I know that the moment that FIRST chapter is completed, everything will flow like water in a laminar flow state just like it had during the last breakthrough of this block. And some of you may remember, that was probably one of my most active time periods with the highest release rates.

Hopefully.

For now, I'll continue trying. And I apologize for the lack of communication the past month. Thank you for being amazing enough to still be here and willing to listen. I take none of your passion or dedication lightly. I want you all to know that I love that you love [Paragon of Sin] just as much if not possibly even MORE than I do. Which is a herculean feat! Again, thank you.

To be honest this novel is trash
First chapter was amazing the descriptions alone was fantastic a cold blooded mc who thinks rationally
Then all of sudden the dude became an idiot who only thinks with his penis
Going about making bets with women and doing some Chinese young master stupid things
This f#cking shit is trash don’t bother trust me
It just annoying what the heck from a cold killer to a simp what kind of idiot wrote this
Swears there will never be a novel like RI

Hey guys can anyone recpmmend me a gripping novel like this? I know its no masterpiece. But it's done right, especially the mc is someone you wants to follow and he always delivers. Any recs?

so we are at an impasse here folks.

It has been brought to my attention that the chapters I'm sharing might be causing unintended consequences. I assumed there were other leakers of priv chapters elsewhere on the internet. But turns out that is not the case and only chapters of PoS are being leaked. Idk if this is the reason why, but kevin's release schedule has been very inconsistent ever since the pandanovel shutdown.

But i wouldnt say it was the leakers fault as he himself mentioned in his discord he took a new job recently and it's cause issues with his free time. It is supposed to be temp.

Now i know for a fact if i dont post chapters i find leaked, someone else will, cause it has happened before. (see previous posted chapters in comments)

But looks like, this only came to attention once chapters were updated by on the regular chapter list, hence being scrapped to other novel aggregators.

I will message panic (though he responds very late) to stop updating the chapters here, and leave them in comments. But until i get a response from him, i'll stop posting chapters from now. If anyone else who is going to post chaps in my stead is reading this, stop for a while till we get this sorted.

The story is very good, one of the best, but for those who read it daily it may not be pleasant, as the story is not finished yet, and there are chapters that are very long with information or details.
The author is very detailed, I like it, but since there are only a few chapters per day, the story is slow for those who follow it daily. So it's good to let the chapters be added together.
In a finished novel, you might skip a few paragraphs, and that's okay.
But I'm already used to stories like this, I love this universe, at least for now. Lol..
I don't even think the harem hinders the story as many say, it just makes the story take longer, as there are only a few chapters per day, people get upset because there is no progress in the main plot.
But I don't think the author is wrong or that this is bad, It is part of the construction of history, but I agree that it would be wonderful if there were more chapters.

It’s a great novel. Amazing in quality.
But
Most of the plot and MC’s actions are about women. Harem abounds. And the filler on characters I don’t care about is so ever present.

It is a harem novel at heart though so…
