Really great novel. Honestly there's a few aspects of this I appreciate, with the cultivation probably being the lowest on the list, cause I've read peak cultivation, and tons of cultivation novels in general, I could do without it but it's still great here. I appreciate most that there isn't cheats, I appreciate Xue Ying's personality, his care for his family which is vital to the story for my favorite sections of the novel, and so much more. The antagonists are usually great, save for the suckas at the end of the novel which have zero buildup or follow through, along with the lack of family stuff or closing of past plot points makes the last few hundred chapters my least favorite part of the novel even though they have their own merit and still are solid 8/10 content, the rest of the novel is 9-10/10 content imo. I loved that the power level was always rising, where in the beginning "transcendents would drink with the gods" was how Xue Ying's naive self would imagine but later it was natural for him to see kids to be born as void gods or stronger that could rule his entire birth cosmos. Also this lacks a lot of cliche shit and you won't really see a lot of confusing Chinese slang other than simple stuff like "the time it takes to brew a cup of tea" or whatever, so besides Chinese names it's not so hard to read, though there is the occasional error from translation or the editor forgot to fix something but it's a rare occurrence. 8.9/10

I started to dislike it after chapter 1100. Even though I saw the righteous protagonist tag before I started to read this, but it still feels stupid and annoying. Before that it was awesome.

Damn, what an incredible novel too bad I finished it, now I feel empty.

Im at book 4 chapter 28 right now roughly chapter 100 the story is pretty amazing and there is no plot hole or anything there is no cheat item or hax. He gets all his power from his love for spear arts and the joy he gets training and wanting to resque his parents. Main character is great too his personality is serious when needed and soft hearted towards his family. He knows what to do and when needed he can become pretty ruthless. Cultivation is pretty unique and enjoyable too. I highly recomend reading this novel I actually rated this 5 star at everything.

Edit:This might become my favorite novel Im at book 7 chapter 29 its about 190 chapter in total and already this is my second best novel first one being martial world. I regard martial world as absolute peak xuanhuan novel so you can understand how good this novel is with me comparing it to martial world. Just read it main character is so good that you wont be able to drop this novel and world building is incredible everything about this novel is amazing.
