    I abhor faceslapping novel ( looking at you library of heaven ) but months pass, years even. Then i come back and read 1000chapters more. This has been happening since the last decade. Finally i decided to read it whole when they translate 7200+ chapters.

    I guess Li Qiye is different after all.

    Emperor's Domination faceslaps those who get invested and exhausts you, making you think you've been wasting your time, but at the point this thought worsens you're deep into the novel so you try to forget about it and keep going, but no, the author will make sure you remember, time and time again.

    Don't get me wrong, the first 1800 chapters are delicious, you have lots of world building, lore, character development, mysterious locations, crazy events, fights, you name it.

    But then the author starts pushing the fact that nothing matters, only Li Qiye, and that the worlds he has visited, the people he met, lineage/sects, and anything else are completely disposable and inconsequential.



    I've seen newbie readers complain about young masters, faceslapping and cultivation resets but these "problems" (can't believe soyboys still complain about faceslapping in the current year) are ant-like compared to what the author does to the reader later in the novel, he makes you not give a shit about side characters, locations, lore while spamming you with new side characters, locations and lore!

    Not recommended at all, if you're curious because someone else told you about how Li Qiye one shots everything then just read it casually, no need to remember the sect's names, characters, lore, locations or anything.

    This could have been so much more better without the constant repetition and face slapping , without it this novel would definitely be in my top 5 webnovels. Many things are foreshadowed but never truly resolved even until the end .
