It is said that you shouldn't meet your heroes. Gehaldirah, a high elf of royal bloodline didn't have to meet the realm lord of High Heaven before he became disillusioned.

His admiration for the paragon of the high elf race turned into hatred when he got some damning knowledge about why demons kept attacking his home and looting the sacred tree of life. His hatred for the realm lord turned to self-hatred for his weakness and mediocrity.

Gehaldirah had a moment of introspection. He isn't at the bottom of the ladder in this strength-based hierarchy. He is a king of law, but that apparently isn't enough to guarantee your fate. His strength is also mediocre because it was granted to him because of his bloodline.

He determined he had to change himself. He has to become better. He concocted a plan that is one part genius and one part greed. His plan for reincarnation led him to the trial of heaven that occurs every origin cycle. He needed Origin essence so he participated in the trial.

He got more than he wanted from the trial. His plan for reincarnation would be a success after some adjustments. But now he has a different aim. He won't aim for just the realm lord. The realm lord has control of the High Heaven Realm. That isn't enough for Geraldirah anymore.

He became greedier. He has his sight set on the movers and shakers of the Void Universe. Only the power to subvert the will of World Gods will do. The plan to create LEGION, the ultimate organism was then hatched. If one person cannot achieve something, what about a multitude of them?

His journey will not be easy. He will have to overcome Celestials and their Celestial Supreme, Gods and their GodKings, Demon kings and their Demon gods. The Void Universe is full of obstacles that will like nothing more than to put an end to his path. It is not that they hate him. They will oppose him simply because the era of conquest is coming. There are no friends in the era of conquest. It is everyone for themselves. And he will use everything and everyone for the advancement of Legion.

    It was great, but for me personally after 1600~ish chapters, it went downhill. Especially when the volume 1 ended.

    I read to chapter 82 and stopped.
    This novel is full of never-ending filler dialogue, info dumps, and exposition. Between all the filler and lore is an extremely slow paced plot and an annoying MC that spends their entire time bickering with the other characters.

    Readers were saying it gets better 40 chapters in, but it was only good for 10 chapters and then became bad in a different way.

    I have read it till 1250 chapters and I feel sometimes that how can I be so dumb that I am still reading it.
    1) MC is oversmart than any other characters only 1 or 2 guy can compete with him and those guys are much high level than him. Even if they try to play him, he just somehow oversmart them in the end in their own game.
    2) We get to know about World enders that are even threat to World Gods and then he just capture one for himself when it can literally end him with just one touch.
    3) We get to know about Realm lord has concept with atleast 6 laws and it is very big thing in void universe then there comes our MC who keep making concepts with 9 or 10 laws like popcorns.
    4) Why is Soverick comprehending laws like it is no big deal at all and even so fast?
    5) In [Reverend Insanity] there were characters at every level that could best Fang yuan at some points and he had to face serious setbacks sometimes but here no one is equal of MC who could be as genius as him in entire universe.
    6) MC is so petty and obnoxious sometimes even when he is so weak when he is just born like in case of Soverick. Why does no one even suspect him when he acts like an arrogant old man, everyone knew that he has no ancestral memories or instincts.
    7) and why does he even hates dragons so much, that he wants to eliminate or hunt their entire race the only case we know is he hates them because they are too strong and prideful. [They deserves to be arrogant because very few things can kill them]
    8) Why does he keep saying to every other character that they should grovel under him because he is so great and they are too ignorant and only he is self sufficient. No one knows that he is reincarnated clone of origin god so how could they know that he is so great.

    (have read till ch 224)This in essence is exposition as a novel, it just never stops, it has somethings that are interresting since it does get quite a bit in regards to world building right(but also has alot of nonsense there) and some realy cool ideas, yet all the fun you could have with this one comes always with like 3x useless info dumps or random stuff happening which might be used later again only to than be unimportend again, the author i feel like wants to make his world as big and interresting as possible but does exactly the Opposite with this. It might be something for other experienced readers, but if you arent that experienced yet dont read it its just a gamble that you likely lose and if you are experienced you can try but you have to be ok with being flooded with info and side story stuff/filler, if you dislike this dont read it. Overall i would say 6,5-7/10(not terrible but more i dont think it deserves, even tho it has Potential and it think might be very fun for some espically seeing the other revs, but doesnt mean its better than that ) enjoyment 3-3,5/10

    This novel is criminally underrated; it merits at least a 4.7 rating.
    It begins at a measured pace, but for a good reason: you witness the main character meticulously preparing his Golden Finger.
    Indeed, in the initial 200 chapters, the protagonist is busy defeating powerful adversaries and infiltrating formidable races to amass resources, setting a solid foundation for future triumphs.
    Yet, these chapters are far from dull; they establish the novel's foundation with excellent world-building and introduce vital characters and concepts. Overall, this novel is exceptional, with tremendous potential.
    Currently, at chapter 1510, the plot has become so intense that it's palpable. The anticipation for the next chapter is immense.
