    Overhyped trash. All side characters are copy paste, obnoxious harem with 0 depth. Schemes only described, never shown. MC "smart" but no evidence thereof, just endless boot-licking and masturbation by author. 0 immersive places, everything is just 1 million palm vs 2 million spear etc., all locations are dazzling and whatnot etc. 0 depth most chapters u can skim through. This mess is accompanied by satisfying face slapping and edgy villain MC with countless jade beauties which is why all the dogs give it high rating. My recommendation : read the first ~ 100 chapters for good giggles and enjoyment then drop decisively.

      This pretty much sums up everything I feel about the novel. It started out promising and I got into it from the manhua which has great art style. the plot from chapter 200 on is just pure mind numbing cringe. It's bootlicking 101. The characters have zero depth and development. They constantly glaze the MC to high heaven. There's not even any satisfying face slapping. MC is considered the greatest prodigy in allhaven and his enemies mostly shit their pants and give up before they even fight making it boring af. Speaking of the fights, it's just full of nonsensical gibberish. The author pulls abilities out of his ass, no consistent system what so ever. 100 different metaphors are used to describe simple attacks. The harem is bland and boring af due to characters having no depth or development. You were right that this only got a high rating from gooners because of the harem tag.

    Hey Guys, There is a similar novel called : I am the supreme villain, with its protagonists name being Lu wuchen, the start is simillar, but then it changes much, but i liked that one better, He is basically gu changge with the qualities i don't like about it removed,It was being published on a chinese website called heyenovel i believe. but i guess chinese govt closed that website and i can't find it anywhere else, i can still see the manga of it being available if you want to search the raw name of it. any idea or tea anyone ?

        Which is crazy because there are a few chinese novels that do great job developing characters and evoking emotions in people other than rage bait. Unfortunately, 99% of xianxia novels are one dimensional cardboard slops that play on repeat. They need to start using chatGPT to add personalities to their characters because they clearly can't do it themselves.
