What about me?

As a failed author who had only one success throughout his whole career, I had reincarnated into my late novel.

There are two MCs in this story.

In the beginning, the author plays the role of an extra with no ambition other than quietly waiting for the story to end. He is almost like a babysitter that watches over the plotline, however, this will only be in the first 40 chapters or so as he will soon be dragged into the plotline regardless of how much he doesn’t want to.

The MC may come off as someone that has no ambition in the beginning but as the story progresses it will change

Also, there may be a bit of info-dumping at the beginning of the novel (at least the first 30 chapters), but there shouldn’t be anymore in the following chapters. Well…being a new author I may end up doing it again. If I do so please do criticize me and scold me. If you don’t scold me how am I supposed to improve the story? What’s great about writing web novels is that I actually can hear your advice and opinions. You are just as much invested in this story as I am, so please help me out.

Also, yes, the novel is inspired by TNE (The novel’s extra) you may see a lot of similarities in the beginning, but for future chapters the differences will start to become more apparent. I hope you manage to stick through it. Also, don’t come reading this expecting it to be another TNE. In fact don’t compare the two.     I’ll write right away, I hate this “work”. I have very, very many reasons, and the most important thing is related to the MS author, who seems to be an adult man, but seems not. And now in detail:
    1. And the construction: there are holes everywhere, there is no sense of the integrity of it all. Just location A here, location B here, and that’s it, that’s enough. If you need more, we’ll make location C here. You get the point, at the beginning there was no clear plan of the area.
    2. Enemies, creating such stupid enemies, one might say, is also a talent, but it’s not my taste when the enemies are dumber than a schoolboy. Winx-level enemies who can wait for you to transform. And their plans that could work only because of the stupidity of the author/MC, don’t remind him of this.
    3. The main character, I can write a whole 20-page essay about him, and I promise you only bad things will be there. It seems like an adult man, but his thoughts, plans and decisions are at the level of an infantile schoolboy who doesn’t even have a clear goal.Just going with the flow and patching up the mistakes that you yourself created is not the goal or the path. It's a shame to watch this. If you want to interfere, then pull yourself together and do everything right.And if you don’t want to, then get the hell out of school. I didn’t want to read about the massacre of schoolchildren, at least here.
    4. A school that is the last pillar of humanity allows its student to practice in a dubious way and waste time Better call the demons, they are definitely smarter than these “directors” and “professors”
    Overall rating: 3/10 and even lower if I had not cooled down after an outburst of anger due to the stupidity of everything that happened here.
    Not recommended reading if you have any common sense. And this is considering that there is a work in this genre from where the author “drew inspiration”It's better to re-read it

      Finally someone is calling this novel the trash that it is. I see people ranking their "best written Webnovels" and this trash gets snuck into an appalling number of them.

      Like bro, the fact that it's entire first arc is a rip-off of another novel (which frankly, isn't much better written) says a lot.

    This novel is a pretty good read. I read this novel after reading Novel's Extra and was surprised how good this novel was. I didn't like how the author kind of sexualized character a little bit, but everything else was really fun. The author made a lot of chances for characters to have their development. Also the author is really good at adding twist in his story.

    Okay i finished the novel and i would say its pretty good but for the last volume, i skipped a lot coz i feel its tedious(?) Idk how to say it, like its not the same like other volume of the novel. But as a whole, the novel is pretty good and i give it... 4/5 very-shy

    i would rate it a 6.7

    my favorite thing about this novel is that all the characters have flaws/problems in their life but they try and better themselves and get trough it and that makes it feel like there's actually change in the characters and not just the same type of personalty that they've had since ch 1, the changes aren't anything too big but still there

    i also like the main villain quite a bit, the author gives him motivation and a reason for what he's doing and it's not just 'get more power for the sake of it' for him power is just a bonus he said so himself and that's pretty cool

    the plot twists were good too, it made me think 'is this what LOTM is like?' since a lot of people have said that every detail plays a bigger part in the story and i'm assuming it's done something similar to this but probably better, i just have to try and read LOTM again

    but i did find myself skipping a bunch of ch and if it wasn't finished i probably would have dropped it and i'm not the only one since the last couple don't even have 1k views and the novel has been done for about 4 months at this point, the first couple have almost 30k that's a huge fall off, welp time to try The Novel's Extra since this was heavily inspired by that

      Although it is a little mysterious but lotm brings a different atmosphere as a whole... there you can imagine yourself in the mc's shoes and feel the whole eerieness of the situation the mc is in... That ofc is a type of eldritch horror but in terms of mysteries and plot development nothing tops lotm. The World building, the whole new monetary system makes you feel like it truly is a new world. No hate to Author's POV... i am saying that lotm is on a whole new level... PS I like the Author's POV a lot but nearing the ending, it kinda fell short ngl... Also yea The Novel's Extra is a good read... just bear with some things.. the ending makes up for all of it almost welldone
