The writing quality gets worse and worse after the 900s chapters so u gotta torture yourself if u want to finish which i clearly wont.

I'm going to have to agree with this dude. After a while, the story becomes less plot and more just a block of text and infodump. The book is great, sure, but it feels stale after a while. It's just getting stronger, fighting stronger, getting stronger, fighting stronger, but when you're near the top of the planet's food chain, it gets stale to see the same enemies come in. Right now, they're fighting a war, against an enemy who
In the later chapters it mostly becomes a block of text and the author is running out of ideas.

They would have targeted the "respawning building" if they could,I mean that's the whole point of the hybrids raiding nights palaces or did I miss a few chapters? And also the author hasn't ran out of ideasjust because characters aren't doing whatever you would want them to do

it's not my cup of tea. I tried reading till 250+ chapters. It's okay, I guess when I am bored.
I felt so confused by the MC, the kind of mood swings he had in his character behavior all the time made me irritated, there was this frustration I can't clearly point out while reading the chapters. I didn't like the development of side characters. The world building was so so. Well compared to other trashes out there, it's okay guess. Read at your own risk, if you have the time.

Writing a review for this Novel feels like walking into a mine field, so I'll try to be objective lol:

Derek McCoy is a tortured soul who rolled a snake eye during his life on earth.

He gets a second chance at life in another world rich in magic, however he is plagued by his memories from his previous life.

Now a young boy named Lith, he embarks on a magical journey to understand why he reincarnates.

It's a long and arduous journey that forces this tortured soul to shed his past scars and grow into a new man. A journey that sees him maturing, and growing into a Supreme Magus. Much like any child transitioning into adulthood there will be "growing pains", ups and downs, joy and suffering.

Also just like Goku from DBZ, every step of his journey forces him to unlock his next super Saiyan form.

Anyway it's a long long Novel that begins with Lith as an infant and progresses into adulthood.

It's a journey, and you may not like every part of it but in my opinion it's a good Novel. For me personally Lith's character development is done well. There were times when I hated him, times when I was proud & excited, and times when he was a bore. Makes the story seem alive, and certainly not generic/cookie cutter.

Actually no - it's kinda one of his major motives: he is genuently scared of the concept of reincarnation especially into much worse situation that he has now. Things clarify/change later on but spoilers.

Sorry if my English is bad:

Rather original story, complex characters and a rather advanced magic system, this novel is quite good overall.

Unfortunately, there's a good reason I stopped reading this story after over a thousand chapters. The personality of the MC does not correspond to his experience on Earth. The evolution of the protagonist is at the center of this novel, which makes it an important issue. Let me be clear, in my personal life, I've seen people with childhoods ten times worse than our MC's, and today they live exemplary family lives.

The MC has never been betrayed by friends, and the people who did not help him in his childhood were not people close to him, that he no longer trusted his country from then on is experiences I can understand, but the fact that he becomes suspicious of everyone is too exaggerated. He has never been deceived by a woman, which excuses even less his distrust of the opposite sex. He lived a fairly decent life until the death of his brother. Same for the two murders he committed, both had a long history behind them. His father wasted his life and his murder was not direct, but closer to an accident. For the second murder, it was the murderer of his brother, under the effect of revenge and the fact that the protagonist is at the end of his life justifies why he committed this crime. However, it does not explain why the protagonist can easily kill in cold blood in the other world.

To develop such mistrust, such composure and such a broken spirit, the MC would have had to live in a hostile environment where betrayal and violence are commonplace. Which is not the case. This stains the novel and spoils, in my opinion, a good part of the story. I end up believing that the MC lived in a war zone if the author continues.

In short, apart from this big flaw, the story is not bad, is sure to please a lot of people.

The Novel is 2k+ chapters currently and MC is still a teenager (19yr to be exact). He's also just got married so hopefully he continues on to lead an exemplary family life like you mentioned.

As for his experience on earth not corresponding, the author may have drummed it up a bit just to spice thing up.

I know for me I thought he was a jackass for good part of his childhood.

Also MC was pretty dense and tunnel visioned when it came to his scars. Pretty sure if it wasn't for Solus he'd be the main villain in this world.

In the beginning of the novel it was specified that lith's brother could live a normal life, while lith couldn't. I had just assumed this was because lith was naturally cynical, which wasn't a good personality trait to mix with tragedy.
      (All in my opinion)

Comparing a novel to reality tends to ruin otherwise incredible stories. After all, a single author can't have experienced the life of another person, much less in a fantasy world.

It was stated that he had no friends or even really work acquaintances (plus as an older brother who's had this type situation happen) your only focus is on protecting your siblings you could care less about anything and anyone. Sure it may seem cynical but at the same time your siblings are safe, so yes distrust and hatred are completely common in these kinds of situations and to get out of that mindset sometimes takes a life time, it's about resilience not stubbornness that encourages growth and good mental health. Which is something Lith did not have in the beginning and what this story is really focused on if you can see it from this angle you can truly appreciate how much Lith grows throughout the series.

I read this review and it says That it seems strange to you that the MC will develop mistrust and so many negative emotions towards people and I can only say "as you can see that you have not suffered any mistreatment or bullying in your Childhood" otherwise you would have quite clear where all those feelings came from

Distrust and negativity are normal indeed, but I find that the author exaggerates these feelings too much in the MC of his story. whoknows Like I said, the MC had it tough, but not that hard. Compared to the life of some of my friends, the life of the MC is rosy. nose

Ah yes, no relation but avoid thinking to know the life of a person without knowing it, the MC of this story and I have more point cummun on our childhood than you think. bond

Hmm well, you have a point there, but even so it seems to me a quite fresh approach, honestly you don't find it a bit boring like in the novels the traumas that for anyone would be devastating Are they resolved with some nice words or some motivating phrase from "Mr wonderful"? Because to me yes, being realistic the trauma of the MC has been resolved in an adequate time taking into account that His personality due to difficulties and trauma made him a highly functional sociopath, but still suspicious and paranoid. Also add that he is in a new world Where he spent the first few years of his life walking on eggshells to avoid anything that would make him stand out as anything other than a slightly smart little kid, keep in mind that It is in a kind of middle age where it would only take a little superstition to have stones thrown at you or the story about you reaches the ears of the nobles, honestly after so much and Being paranoid, the strange thing is that you stopped being so in the short term.

And you're right I shouldn't assume anything , a hug for a shitty childhood because we share that part of life and the truth is that I must admit that I am a bit critical of the reviews of this novel because I appreciate it a lot so that may be why I put on something "irrational" 🤣🤣
