I finally understood why I had this wretched feeling. Essentially, at some point mc sneakily turned into typical dumb beta japanese mc.
Who is he? He is a Mr. Nice Guy aka a simp and a doormat - the usual qualities of jap mc. He is a hidden expert in relationships, knows who needs what and when and can use such words like "toxic" unironically. Thats why he shares with muh Kami everything, even easily revealing secrets of others, an action which he himself frowned upon. Muh Kami probably even knows the condition of his poop in the morning/evening at this point. He easily tolerated her unreasonable flaws and never once got angry, even when she one sidedly ditched him for 3 months (its somehow all his fault after all, like always). By the way, the notion that this woman gets to be picky is ridiculous. As a reward for his efforts he gets to be called a good boy like a pet. This is perfect. But what finally opened my eyes today was this. What does mc get for all his simping troubles?

I was taken aback. He, an established, venerable master simp and grandmaster doormat, a pioneer on the path of Mr. Nice Guy (remember, he is a modern man in so called middle ages, there is no one who could possibly be more accommodating than him) still gets to be treated like a human trash that needs to be warned as if he could intentionally make a woman cry. O.m.g. Please rename this novel to Supreme Doormat.
