I only read 200 chapters but I'm going to give my opinion anyway, when I started reading I had high expectations, a novel with more than 2000 chapters, with the MC having the ability to reincarnate to other worlds infinitely, it's a very good premise, and I already I was imagining his journey across many different worlds with unique powers from each world, I got really excited. But as I read, the excitement is gone and only frustration remains, the MC for some reason is emotionally broken, and the author tries to develop his character with each chapter, which is kind of boring and takes all the "magic" out of the rest of the book novel, for me the author should kill the MC's family, I preferred to read his journey as an edgelord in search of resurrecting his family and then character development. The reasons I stopped reading it, I saw in the comments that in the 2000 chapters the MC is only 19 years old, I like slow romances but not that much, it seems to me that the MC's reincarnation powers will not be used and he will remain in the world for always (which for me kind of takes the fun out of it), the MC looks like a spoiled brat rather than a 40 year old man from the 21st century. What this novel lacks is the cliché of xianxia novels, MC should aim to be number 1 under heaven and stop all his depression, it would be much more fun, whenever I read a witcher novel I expect an MC with personality similar to Leylin and Fang yuan, who I think would be the perfect personality for this novel, an MC with a solid personality and a clear goal. (I was rooting for someone to kill the MC and all his annoying family, forcing him to reincarnate in another world without magic so he can stop complaining about his miserable life, just because his brother died and his father beat him centuries ago hahahahah not me judge I was very frustrated with this novel). I advise you to read " global reincarnation: becoming a god with my unlimited revive ". You should like it, thought be aware, sometimes you'll just need to turn of your brain for a bit but its enjoyable to read and an interesting way of showing the reincarnation motif

Damn the story started out with a bang and put me through a ride but at chapter 500 i got to say the story became too slow paced and put more focus on the emotional growth but this too feels too slow. Overall definitely worth the read.

Problem with all the emotional growth is it f#cking regresses to keep going, like damn man how many f#cking times does it take to reconcile with your closest companions. Not once, but 2-4 times per person? Holy shit man.

I'll be addressing a few things. First, Supreme Magus is a really really good novel. Yes, it's has a lot of emotional roller coasters, the MC's trust issues, anger and all of that, but it only makes it more wholesome when he grows and becomes a better person.
. Yeah don't you think it'd be weird to go through all of that and just become a regular kid after his third rebirth?
Just have a read, it's worth it

Guys if you want to read a really good novel , with balanced power system and cool protagonist with the best romance ever , you should read invisible dragon , it's the best monster reincarnation I've ever read , and don't forget to thank me after you read.

Lith constantly berates himself gets into all kinds of moods PTSD Depression
    Impostor syndrome
He constantly doubts and belittles himself

But he also sees himself as superior
Because he is a man from the 2st century
Treating his reality like an RPG game that only he can finish and he is the smartest
And when he is proven wrong he realizes his mistake?

    What does he do?
He makes the same mistakes again im on chapter 33 i know it's not that long but from the other reviews i am sure that i don't want to read this novel
    Instead of becoming a magician
He should have seen a pyschiatrist or something it's just not my cup of tea

and it's too long with too many filler chapters
    Otherwise its good.

Legion20 really created a gem of a novel that is Supreme Magus.

The only problem is....he constantly keeps trying to find it's melting point.

I can compare Legion20 with Tolstoy. I can even feel russian 19 century mixed with a bunch of anime stuff + a lot of modern magic life improvements.

The author should change the novel's name to "The Supreme MENTAL ILLNESS." Chapters 27 to 300 (what I could force myself to read) were constant back-and-forth text walls describing the MC's mental struggle, his sadness, etc. This extends to his friends and so on. Trust me, this is not worth your time if you're not looking for drama and a cringe-worthy read that lasts hundreds of chapters.

How shallow... You haven't yet reached part with identity crisis, not to mention the existential dread one, and that's before the PTSD arc, and the 5 stages...

Well this is our reality too. It might be not close to your heart but mine. I've read 700 chapters in couple of shots and I think athour good at changing storytelling tempo. So even if this mental issues is not yours, you might be captured by world, other character, setting at all.

I want to enjoy this novel, the settings, the lore and the characters; believe me, I do. However, 300 chapters of nonsense? That's some f#cking high bar to enjoy a novel.
