anyone here who read it up to 500+ chaps? did the mc change for the better or what?

I am at chapter 145 but still can't stomach the MC. He is a hypocritical bastard.

The novel is good in many respects, the setting of the world is good and the characters are good, but what I did not like is the slow growth of the main character as I am in chapter 104 and it is ranked 1 for a novice martial artist only, but if we exclude the slow growth in the strength of the hero, then the novel is very good [note] [I mean the slow growth of the hero in terms of the number of chapters in the novel, not in terms of time in the world of the novel]

Adam_A as an author is . . . very imaginative. He always has good concepts that get me excited to read his novels. But he can never carry them in the long term for shit like oh my GOODDDDDDDDD. I TRIED BUT THIS GUY SUCKS DEADASS!

Tried to read this novel multiple times but i just cant force myself to like the mc. The setting is decent, the world building is okay, the overall pacing of the story is great, but the one thing i really cant stomach is the mc. Probably one of the 'weakest' mc i have seen so far. Not in the literal sense but on the way he carries himself.. Complains at every single damned thing, has a habit of squealing, screaming, pouting for whatever reason, executes his moves very clumsily, doesnt really plan on how to better use his hard earned resources, everything can be read on his face like an open book despite him having the so called 'hunter' s mind' etc.. The list goes on..
