Sigh, it's just your avg urban magical realism wuxia+xuanhuan fusion Chinese novel.

TLDR- good novel for beginners not for us veterans. It's an avg novel with a predictable avg story line followed by countless novels, it won't be wrong to call it an assembly like novel.

ASEMBLY LINE NOVEL-
In these kind of stories the storyline goes the same, the only difference being the power of the golden finger the mc receives which brought us to this site and basically carries the novel.

These novels are a set template where every mc acts the same. Prolly by the same author or people just ripping off each other

Template goes like, The mc denies woman and lots fall for him, he has a helpful teacher that tries to help the mc and occasionally ends up being bothersome instead, a criminal with the starting package, an unfavoured friendful young master, enemy young masters.

Usually the mc's demure in these novels is "calm and composed" but these authors confuse for composure with a sitting pushover duck. The mc will keep going on his own rhythm frustrating others and then will just solve the problem while blaming them for kicking up a fuss.

Really weird novel the cheat that MC get is really interesting and fun but the author is stuck between using cliche or writing sth else. The first 30 or so chapters don't have the same cliche of arrogant young master and stuff but is really boring cause nothing really happens in them.
there is some class politics that seems interesting to explore and is introduced with the arrogant young master and the college examination stuff but the chapters that are out now (113) stops after he got into the college. Kinda interesting idea of the story but unfortunately it looks like author dropped it which is a bummer
the story is fun and translation is mostly OK outside of the weird to paragraphs in the last 2 chapters.
8/10 fun read highly recommend it.
