    The story is nice with the ridiculous premise of the system. for the 40 chapters that are released now it's fine but the MC is just a dick. He got kicked from his sect before the story started because he fell into the lake where the granddaughter was bathing. the story develop to a point where she get captured with other girls and get assaulted while MC just watch because she was mean to him. After that he rescued her and stuff but why include that?
    the translation is fine not entirely MTL but feels like a translated MTL.

      While I didn't like that being there either. What you're forgetting to state is the granddaugther basically gave him a death sentence. Not only was the oringinal soul of the body killed, but when MC met her again, the first thing she did was to try to kill him. It's not like she just badmouthed him, she wanted him dead. So of course he felt no ergency to help her. Not to mention all of this happened when he was in the enemies base. He's no superman.

        Huh? The author is the one writing the story it’s not a retelling. It wasn’t a needed seen nor was it “advantageous” to MC. He just did it to be a dick. The author didn’t even bother to write around it and put it there so it would be a “cool revenge” when the people who killed him got killed with a couple of lines.

          Yes the author is the one writing the story. And he decided to write a story about a girl that was thourghly evil. Sure, did he need to write the grape scene, no, but then again he didn't need to write the story at all.
          Again, you are critizing him for not risking his life to save an enemy. She's lucky he didn't just kill her. Maybe I've just read too many novels, or seen too much media. But there are tons of stories where the MC shows up too late to save the females that have been SAed. This author just had the MC sit there and let it happen.
          Ideally I don't like it, but also, I wouldn't drop the novel over it.

    Read till chapter 26. It has a good start however the author decides to give him the hero halo. What that means is that when someone is with him, they will never die. He can do whatever he wants and in the end he will also get a surprise gift, he is a "justice" guy with deep hatred for demonic cutlivators without any reason for it. I do reccomend it for people who like wish fullfilment and do not care about the plot though.

        Come on, don't make me the bad guy oru2x . I give everything a lot of chances before I butcher it like this. I know that you can read it with the brain off, but what is the point of reading something in that state, even when I try, some unrealistic things (called plotholes) easily attract your attention. I believe you will find reading much more joyfull if you really think while reading it. I can understand your point of view, but I like novels, where mc is smart - cunning, cold, logical, there is psycology involved, everything is 'earned' by actions not just by 'gifts' from the author.

          it's only bcoz of junk food novels like this one that we don't fall into the path of mtl. Need to be engaged till next new find. Or relax with trash after a good read.

            Thanks I found some good ones from the discord, I will also check yours later on. Cough... the path of mtl is not that bad... Let's say that it is something different.... And I would argue, it is not about falling into the path of mtl, it is about trancending to a new realm, with many novels that you could read. It is like those cultivation books where the mc starts from the lower realm, unfortunately there is a limit to how much he can grow, till he goes to the upper realm. And MTL is the upper realm. quiet
