      Since no one decided to write about this book after half a year, I will write. The first 30-40 chapters are quite good, they even make you think that this is a good book, but unfortunately it doesn’t last long. Either the author has a bad imagination or something else, but over the next 100 chapters, it will be a standard Chinese cliché, where the hero killed 1 person to save himself, and after that 100 chapters he tries to get out of the shit he got into. All that happens is the hero kills someone, and then his uncle/grandfather/great-grandfather comes to take revenge. I really don’t recommend reading this, if you want something with cultivation, then absolute resonance is better, although it’s not ideal, it’s definitely 4/5*. Good luck.

    Gotta say this is uh…kinda plain. I mean the writing is better than your average Chinese novels where young masters who get face slapped and cliches are everywhere, however, that’s all it has to it. Better than your avg CN but not a top read.
    The battlefield wasn’t that interesting either, it did have some comedy but the fights and translation of them went down abit.
    Overall, if you haven’t read much cultivation and aren’t used to this kinda genre, do try it as it isn’t bad but if you have and consider yourself a veteran then don’t waste your time unless you’re bored.
    FYI: if you want sum real top recommendation, go read ATG and MGA :)

        I mean... even if you're new to the cultivation novel scene, it's pretty obvious what those acronyms stand for. If it isn't, a quick search on the web is all you need to do as they are popular, for both good and bad reasons.

        As for the veteran part, it should have immediately felt like a joke. Most likely than not, a "veteran" would've already read those two novels and stopped at a point because of various reasons. No one experienced in this genre would ever take those recommendations seriously. cheerful

          Yeah i literally got 3k chapters into MGA and quit. ATG got 1700 chapters before i quit.

          ATG was good, but the main character literally stated they have no need to be powerful and just want to stay home with their family.

          MGA never changed. I skipped 500 chapters and it was the same thing repeating.

                Well I’ll give you a small hint and you can decide he turns from wishy washy Yun Che to yun Che I will kill everyone in the whole world and it was executed immaculately, of course I have already forgotten many details about the novel since the writer got f#cked over and is deliberately writing 1ch a month as revenge.

                Also last time I caught up with the novel it has explained many many plot holes it left and now there is just one plot hole left which I hope is answered in the final arc.

        People don’t wanna write paragraphs or just want to use shorter words cuz they’re easier, so you gotta get use to it plus you can easily search it up. ATG novel and you will see it in the first pop up. I expect most to have already read it that’s why I used short name but also if you’re new I thought you’d already been told to never go near them as they are just full of cliche and repetition for like thousands of chapters. Plus like every meme or joke is from those cliche novels so I’m surprised people don’t get where I was leading to.

        If you want some top tier Xainxia gold, I would recommend: Martial world, True Martial World, Reverend Insanity, Martial Universe, Paragon of Sin, Nine Star Hegemon Body Art (But too much face slapping, guy literally cultivates Dao of Face Slapping, though if you ignore his interaction with girls it's a pretty good one), and almost all of Er Gen's.

            Yeah generic but that's why it's gold, look at the Xainxia novels these days; My luck increased by 10000 times so my chicken evolved into the Phoenix or I have got thousand step system, every thousand steps my cultivation realm increases by one.

          If you want to read Reverend Insanity, make sure to be up for lots of random filler paragraphs after a few hundred chapters. The Northern plains arc and the zombie one after it feel very boring. Just make sure you have lots of patience to read reverend insanity. Or your a new cultivation novel reader.
