Su Chen died. That was when the real cheat code finally activated. A mysterious ancient tome called the Reverse Fate Scripture latched onto his soul. Every time he dies, it coldly tallies his previous life's feats, failures, and sheer audacity—then awards Reverse Fate Points.

Spend them wisely: perfect-grade talent, heaven-defying comprehension, god-tier bloodlines, imperial birthrights, demonic heritages… anything to rewrite the script of the next existence. And so the cycle begins.

He's been the arrogant trash young master, discarded by his own clan like yesterday's garbage.

He's been the iron-blooded general who never lost a battle… until the battlefield claimed him.

He's worn the crown as emperor, ruled the world with an iron fist—only to be killed by the very family he trusted.

He's been the sect's unrivaled senior brother, sword in hand, crushing every genius in his generation.

He's been a demonic cultivator who bathed righteous sects in blood.

He's even become a devouring Nether Raven, swallowing entire worlds…

Lifetime after lifetime.

Failure. Betrayal. Glory. Catastrophic falls.

Every death just feeds the next run—making him sharper, stronger, more ruthless.

Now, armed with memories from countless lives, battle-hardened experience, and a terrifying mountain of hoarded Reverse Fate Points, he opens his eyes once more.

This time, he's nobody's pawn. He's engineering the single most broken starting build imaginable. Everything that ever crushed him underfoot is getting stomped right back—hard.

From worm to apex predator. From crippled trash to untouchable sovereign. From mortal speck to standing above the heavens themselves. Countless openings. Countless brutal deaths. All converging on one inevitable endgame—To reach the pinnacle of every cycle and shatter this cursed fate once and for all!

I can tell this'll be mid, if we're lucky, I mean look at it. Nothing says mid Xinxia like directly stating the MC will have no logical reason to not be OP and naming him Su Chen.

Seriously, what is with the name Su Chen and this type of xinxia.

Isn't this the same novel as Fantasy: I Defy Fate for Eternity and Defeat the Immortal Emperor?

Didn't recall the egg guy writing it. That's probably because he didn't, did he? Unless it was under another name. Early chapters were reincarnation slop but eventually
    .

I will leave a bit of open spoiler to say that some characters from earlier lives come back in later lives. And he definitely doesn't require a hundred lives to ascend, nor does he only live a hundred lives.

A good time-pass novel, but it has too many problems.

The MC’s personality is not consistent. In one life, he acts like a demon, while in another he suddenly becomes a good guy. His personality changes depending on the background he is born into.

The side characters possess 0 IQ. Everyone gets offended over the smallest reasons and wipes out entire family trees for laughable causes.

“What? You attacked my disciple? Once I reach your level, I’ll go to your family and kill all of you.” The other guy hears this and ignores it. Then the guy actually reaches that level and kills the entire family.

The power scaling goes up and down depending on the author’s mood. Characters go from destroying entire galaxies to not even being able to destroy a planet, based on whatever the author wants.

The MC starts in a small kingdom. Later, it turns out there are many kingdoms controlled by one bigger place. Then there are many such bigger places. Then there are worlds outside the universe, and later even more universes outside of those. The author suddenly adds these settings and acts like he was foreshadowing them from the start, when they clearly came out of nowhere.

Again, the side characters have no personality. Once the MC reaches a higher realm, the previous realms become cannon fodder, but a 4th realm guy acts exactly the same as a 10th realm guy. You can’t tell the difference between them.

The biggest letdown was when one of his reincarnations was in the Great Xia Kingdom and he joined the army. He suddenly became a saint who would give up everything for people’s safety, even though a few lives ago he was murdering everyone.

Years pass in the blink of an eye. Characters just sit in one place, letting others grow stronger until the MC becomes OP enough to beat the shit out of them.

I read it a while back but I recall MC being mostly a good person until later on when he got obsessed with ascending, willing to do anything but after
he eventually mellows out to decent and then apathetic when he becomes an immortal

Please note that killing more people or saving more people both count as heavy impact actions which means more reincarnation points which means better talent and opportunities in the next life. So of course the man deadset on ascension would do good and evil where it aids him.

Now I don't know if this version changes anything, but in the Fantasy: I Defy Fate for Eternity and Defeat the Immortal Emperor version I read, his personality and motivations as well as their changes weren't random.

He was obsessed with ascending and doing everything to have more tools for his next life by that point. I also think something was interfering with his judgement, like with
. Things interfere with his judgement a few times. I did read it a while back so I don't remember all that well but I'm sure I didn't feel it was jarring.

My view was that he started as a good guy, and was corrupted by the power and drive. Willing to do more to have more, he is then good or bad only because being good or bad is beneficial to his goals. Each life is like a play and he operates based on the role he is given. And he does this until the time I mentioned up top, after which he leans more towards being a fairly decent person again. But I recall the
so I know he didn't become a saint of any kind.

He doesn't ever become as good as he was in his first life.

Royal Road is having a Webnovel migration. So all of those writer's bots are going over and mass 5 star reviewing the translations. They are mass downvoting and reporting any negative reviews (apparently they consider three stars to be negative) and overall being pests.

The readers of Royal Road do not like that because it is flooding the site with low quality translations (when the website is a original/no translation site). They report the translations but there's a loophole, if its the "original writer" then it can be uploaded.

I'vee seen some mods say that it is becoming a more common issue so maybe it will change. It seems like they and their readers do not have a problem with translations just the badly written ones.
