Again, another unreasonable korean MC that obsessed with hiding abilities

This is a classic because history reasons, one of the first translated of this genre and translated by the great rainbow turtle.
Idk if it holds up for the times but is nostalgic for me

I'm only at book 3, so I can't give you a review based on the whole story, but I think I can give you a good idea if you should even give this a go despite the lower ratings.

Pros:
- Slow but mostly consistent build, the MC is not OP and he doesn't just suddenly become so
- Lots of solo action so the fights scenes aren't messy in most cases
- MC is good at the game from a battle standpoint
- fights are pretty well detailed
- The game world is genuinely interesting thanks to the MC spending time with NPC's
- The players in the game affect the world, MC more so than most...obviously
- I think this is a + just because this is translated work, this novel is complete, which is better than reading 100+ chapters to find out the story was axed or the translators gave up on it.
- for those who like it there is a sort of background revenge plot in this story

Cons:
- MC makes some really silly/stupid mistakes early on that can be aggravating, but are important to the plot
- MC is cynical, paranoid, vindictive, and envious in some cases which can be annoying
- MC doesn't interact much with players leading to more easily avoided mistakes
- MC never registers his fame
- Like most in the genre the stats are an afterthought for the most part and don't really give you an idea how strong he is, he constantly fights many levels about his class thanks to semi-valid reasons I won't spoil
-The chapters are long, which can make it feel like it's dragging on if you're used to reading shorter chapters on sites like this like me.

Overall at 3 books in I'd say this deserves a solid 3.5/5. How you feel about the story will honestly depend on if you can get past the first book (9 chapters). I'd recommend giving it a try if you are a fan of the VRMMO genre, but don't feel too stressed to read on if you can't find something you like in it. For me, the best part of the story is his consistent progression which is why I listed it first in the pros column. Hopefully, this helps some of you, I don't usually write reviews so this is mostly an amateur appraisal.
