    come to think of it why tf was the obsidian knife even there in the senctuary of noctis if he died in past shouldnt it have been destroyed already dosent that measn HES FKING ALIVE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE ? lshock
    and if he is dead wouldnt that mean the nightmare spell simply took them to the past and it wasnt a illusion.. sunny should have done sometime like left some mark some where and come check after the nightmare was over to see if they rlly went to the past

      I love your hunch.Noctis is a strange man indeed. He certainly is alive but his whereabouts are unknown. He could be with weaver or some sort of entity. He could also be a supreme by now hiding somewhere quietly. Or he could somehow be in a state between being alive and being dead like hibernation.
      Will might find out in future chapters.

      Since the fate of both noctis and solvane was still sealed in the knives sunny found, then it certainly means noctis is alive in the present day. But more than lokely sealed away by something or hiding in some remote place of the dream realm. The fact that he was able to take them into the nightmare and use them, i think it was because noctis himself said, the knives would always find their way to someone hands. So its more than likely, his knife and the one from the obsidian tower will reappear when they become relevant again

          There is no such thing as “normal” sorcery. Noctis simply used a different type than Sunny does.

      Weaving is also true sorcery, all daemons had different methods of practicing it, weaver used threads of fate and essence to make spells and the spell, hope used magic by imbuing words and symbols with a meaning and channeling it through those words, these are the two methods we know if right now and they're both true sorcery, just different applications of it
