I read this book a few years back it was more or less an enjoyable experience but the training filler got old very quickly. The ending also left much to be desired. For a book titled “Unlimited Power” writing the endgame boss to get defeated in a team effort seems like a cop out. Otherwise it was a book which you could switch your brain off to read.

Technically, they are no longer people, but completely different creatures.
I don't remember the metaphysics of this world exactly anymore, since I abandoned the novel, but it must be normal for them to cultivate for years and do nothing extra. An ordinary person would already go crazy, even if he didn't need sleep, food and water (and all the derivatives).

In a way, her feelings and memories were not wasted, she is the first natural spector (probably even last) we saw that willingly sacrificed herself and her experience for something other than her life. In a way she is more of a human then a spector.

Man Enlightened ones were amazing, even managed to somehow change the very nature of spector to humanize them for their cause.

It’s a shame this book ends here. It had so much potential that looks like it’ll remain unfulfilled. Hopefully serialisation will resume sometime in the future.
