Zorian is a teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, attending his third year of education at Cyoria’s magical academy.

He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, he has no time for pointless distractions or paying attention to other people’s problems.

As it happens, time is something he is about to get plenty of. On the eve of the Cyoria’s annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria.

Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn’t been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere…

Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again — in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn’t safe from those who wish him ill. Collapse

I'd say it's fun story, it chugs along at a decent pace. There's enough intrigue at the start to get you hooked; MC finds himself trapped in a very bizarre, seemingly impossible situation. The world building is fantastic for such a short story but the plot does begin to lull at times (spiders/villain) and the author does seem to repeat himself a lot. The MC is very morose and isn't very receptive to his family. It's mentioned throughout the novel but ultimately doesn't go anywhere.

Overall a 7.5/10, would recommend but don't expect the world.

CINEMA. Really glad i'm holding on for the first part of the novel. Kinda too boring if i could say about it but after reading till the end, all that part is important to the story and satisfactory. 5/5 for me

Very solid novel, the first part (25 or so chapters) was basically perfect imo, the rest felt a bit weaker and the end kinda rushed, but still a top tier novel, would recommend anyone

    Spoiler below

What felt weaker was the memory bubble, aranea colonies, and red robe parts

I like how the good authors are usually humble. Because they don't want their imperfections to bleed into their work. You can see they care by the way they write. And boy, was he humble.
Contrary to his worries, I didn't feel him in the characters. Zorian felt like Zorian, Zach like Zach, and enthusiastic seeker of novelty like Novelty. The world was believable, vast and detailed as expected of his worldbuilding focus.
And the foreshadowings! The way he scattered lore and plans throughout the chapters, and then picked it up, especially in the finale, was glorious!
But all in all, it was largely a story of personal development and it was admittedly moving. Usually, I tend to divide books into story-driven, where author tries to pull us into their world and keeps us with how masterful it us, and metaphorical ones where author uses the story as a parallel to show us something valuable. MoL is the first one in my opinion, but it was funny to see lessons coming just as natural consequences of their actions, in completely seemless and natural way. Repetition really is a Mother of Learning. He certainly proved that point.
A memorable novel. Cheers to the author 🥂

Ok, I went into this thinking it might be an ok time waster. Oh boy, how wrong I was. I ended up reading for 27 hours straight. This book is a perfect example of character progression. Both in terms of character personality and ability growth.
Overall, this is a wonderful novel, and I recommend it to any who wish to try it out.

    Peak fiction.

Please read this novel, possibly one of the best I have ever read. Seamless and non-intrusive foreshadowing and exposition. Solid character development and character writing in general. A genuinely fascinating world rendered in detail with a strongly fleshed out magic system that's integral to the story.

And to top it off it has a truly satisfying and well thought out ending, which is a rarity in web fiction.

My only gripe is that I wish there had been more epilogue, but the author may have done that in other works as I will soon check.

    For me this is 10/10

matabar was a good story but the mc is still the puberty laden teen with edgy personality and mood swings

and 12 miles was good in the start but it lacks depth to the characters.. characters are super monotonous..
