Zorian is a teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, attending his third year of education at Cyoria’s magical academy.

He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, he has no time for pointless distractions or paying attention to other people’s problems.

As it happens, time is something he is about to get plenty of. On the eve of the Cyoria’s annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria.

Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn’t been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere…

Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again — in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn’t safe from those who wish him ill. Collapse

This novel was really good, 8.5/10.
The idea, characters and the story, in general, was well written.
There were only 2 things that I didn't like. The first one: there were some boring chapters (but, again, almost every novel have some). The second one: I prefer more ruthless MCs (but it's not like he was a naive saint/hero either, so it wasn't that bad).
In other words: I recommend this novel boast !!!!!

What I liked the most about the story was the side characters. To me they felt alive, they were not puppets that the mc could use at will they had there own thoughts and could generally lead the direction of the story. For me that is a masterclass move by the author, I will be very much happy to see side stories of xvim

So you're an average student with your typical dilemmas. Your older brothers are a pain, your younger sister is annoying, and your parents just don't understand.

School is mundane, and your guidance counselor is a hard ass. Such is life as a typical teenager.

However Zorians mundane routine comes crashing down around him once he gets pulled into a time-loop, with no choice but to relive the same month over and over. If he continues to live life as he knew it, he'll simply go insane. Forced to unravel the mystery of his circumstance Zorian embarks on a journey of magical growth and maturity.

This was a surprising novel to get into, I thought it would get repetitive but it turned out not being enough. I ended up wishing Zorian spent more time in his time loop.

The Novel still concludes well, and I hope Author writes a sequel to this story.

Give it a read it's very good.
