    Genius
    Devious MC
    Grandpa library
    Plot armor
    Weak romance

    Rating 4
    Verdict: recommended to read
Honestly better than most but it doesn't excel either. The end is not satisfying as I hoped.

This book is definetely much better than average cultivation novels.
I'll just mention the good points real quick, because if you're like me, searching for fun cultivation novels, you most certainly must give this a try.

1)This novel is almost never boring, things happen constantly that keep you interested.
2)MC is a genius in both alchemy and cultivation and plus alchemy stays relevant during the whole novel.
3)His cultivation progresses really fast, so you wont have to get frustrated at seeing MC stay in the same realm for hundreds of chapters.
4)MC doesnt have to constantly rely on older generations or plot armor to save his ass. He gets himself out of trouble.
5)MC surpasses the older generation relatively quickly .
6)He is the classic MC, merciless to enemies good to friends.

Theres more to say but that should cover the basics.

Now there are some negatives as well, you can check other reviews.
Anyway, despite the negatives this novel is definetely worth a read if you are looking for cultivation novels which are fun to read, that dont bore you with a shit ton of info dumbs and where MC's cultivation takes hundreds of chapters for a single realm.
    Give it a try!

The score for this novel is quite apt, it is certainly average, or slightly above average. It is what i hoped for, quite the big time sink with its 3000 chapters worth of content, though you might find the story seems to run in loops: arriving at a world as the weakest person, go through trials and tribulations while being the most talented person ever, become the strongest person in the world, ascend from this weak world to another world, and then suddenly becomes the weakest person once again. This happened around 4 times. To me, it didn't bother me since i wanted something lengthy to read, but if you feel that repeatedly starting over from scratch after becoming the strongest person is a bit jarring, you might not like this novel very much. The author's world building is a bit uninspired, if you've read a lot of cultivation novels like i have, then you'll be familiar with everything already. The cultivation realms are quite bland and uninspired as well, they are basically just power levels with barely any special features. Read this novel if you want to pass the time, it's a competent, albeit, forgettable read. One thing that bothered me a lot, was that the author used the mc's friends and family being in danger repeatedly as a gimmick to create tension and conflict in the novel, which was quite annoying, since the vast majority of these events could have been avoided if the mc took precautions. Also, a complete lack of artifact refiners or blacksmiths. Despite the existence of swords and other treasures, there was never any mention of an artifact refining sect or anything similar, the only occupations in existence are either alchemist or array master...which is quite weird! Anyway, thanks for reading! The following section of the review will be riddled with spoilers, so be warned.

This novel is great in every thing but the main goal of cultivation of mc is utter bullshit and this novel should have ended at 1200+ chapter after that is a repeat of the previous arc with same shit but different cultivation name ,and mc goal of cultivation will leave you with nothing but disappoint at the end

Brother, I am the same. Recently I have sunk countless hours into stories like this, with thousands of chapters. Most recently was Martial World, Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse, I'm starting this and Chaotic Sword God again. Probably gonna also read Martial Peak for the 3rd time. Good luck satisfied

It's a competently written cultivation story. If you've read a competently written cultivation story, you know, the ones that were not "meh" but not one for the books either, this is pretty much that. If you're into action and adventure (albeit the usual definition of adventure that can be found for these types of stories) then you'll probably get enjoyment out of this.

Novel isn't bad per se, but, I can't call it an excellent novel either. The arc remains annoyingly similar in every realm. Actually, everything remains same - mortal realm, divine realm and then, when MC reaches beyond the world. The only thing that changes is the characters.
It's as if the author can't find anything beyond that to write, so it becomes rinse and repeat roughly every 1000+ chapters. And, when author realises that it's becoming repetitive, he takes away MC's excellent alchemy ability after he acsends beyond the world.
Other than that, the novel is ok.

Good to know I dropped it early on, seems like what I feared is what happened with the repetitive plots.

Damn, alchemy/medicine seems like mc's thing. Why the heck would author take it away. Rather than that taking cultivation away would be much more preferabke.

'Unrivaled' is an American spelling, 'Unrivalled' is used almost everywhere else.

It's a remnant from when some Americans tried to simplify spelling rules. Obviously, they mostly failed and most of the changes they came up with were abandoned, but this one was popular enough to stick, along with things like color, armor, etc.. So both spellings are correct.
