“I saw with my own eyes that they used the finest, rustproof refined steel to make utensils and cans, filling them with just a little food, then casually throwing them away after eating.”

“I saw with my own eyes that they used giant beasts as tall as mountains to devour soil and rocks, digging out underground cities, just to park their steel carriages beneath the surface.”

“I saw with my own eyes that they fed glowing ores into an everlasting stellar furnace, unleashing a radiance brighter than the sun.”

“I saw with my own eyes all those indescribable things.”

“Their iron birds covered the sky, their steel ships filled the ocean, their war machines tore the earth asunder, and their gods walked upon the world.”

“You must think I’m mad.”

“But it doesn’t matter.”

“It has already seen you.”

Oil is Its blood.

Thick smoke is Its breath.

Ore and steel are Its food.

The countless cargo ships in the harbors are Its myriad offspring.

The place of origin stamped in the corner is Its silent mockery.

They claim they are mere mortals.

Child, you’d best not argue.

You must understand:

Their technology is beyond comprehension.

Their production capacity is unimaginable.

A mere glimpse of their creations will drive you insane.

Their morale surpasses even the most fanatical worshippers of dark gods.

How will you stop them?

With your sword, child? Or your flesh and blood?

You should be grateful that they still consider themselves mortals.

“I’ve finished building my factory, and now you’re telling me this world runs on idealism?!”

“Wait, then what the hell did I just create?” Collapse

Guys, this will be my review of the novel. I enjoyed the novel, but I stopped at chapter 160 or so. Unfortunately, this time I couldn't stop my mind from thinking about the protagonist. I didn't like him, I had an instinctive feeling that the protagonist is just something the author wants to happen in a world full of mystery, not even trying to get superpowers because of his obsession and worship of the concept of humanity

For example, in a month or two we're trying to teach people science that took thousands of years to compile, and who's going to learn how a steam engine works? He has everything in his brain to make an industrial revolution, but neither you nor I will even remember advanced math if we don't have a reference. How about even teaching it, man, that's bullshit. Also, there's something that really bothers me about the Chinese and Japanese who see everyone who worships God as backward and evil, man, I'm speechless..

I'd like to say more, but I'm too lazy to write more, so judge for yourself. After reading the novel yo_9 pepeg_26

...is this novel the imaginings of someone young and ignorant of the real world?

Istg, most of the time steampunk is mentioned, the person doesn't actually have any clue how science, tech or manufacturing actually works.

Lol yes, there is a bit of an over-represented mass of sheer stupid, non-sensical shit on the internet.

But that's not all there is. That doesn't have to be the standard of expectation and consumption.

I dunno guys, it feels like the comments are tricking you into reading this novel…

They say it’s good, but to me it feels VERY BORING, despite the fact that I am kingdom building, lovecraftian horror lover…

Trust my words, the general setting of this story is quite unrealistic, and “mystery” vibe felt good, but later became unattractive.

Also the author’s idea that the MC can single handedly educate people is bullshet. Not talking about the impossible timescale/production of industrialisation.

This novel tries to take a lot from LOTM yet fails in the background feeling of mystery, why? Because author focuses on industrialisation, despite the “supernatural” forces behind the scenes. It’s like you want to focus on airships building despite knowing that aircraft’s are better…

Since no one said anything I have few problems with this novel, the mc built factories, chemistry labs a school and other stuff all in less than a month? Does that make sense time wise? This novel has no concept of time, now Ill read he will have a fully literate work force in 2 months. Honestly this novel is trash

Honestly, you're right—but you have no idea how right you are. The time issue is a f#cking problem in 99% of webnovels, whether they're Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Western.

It always feels like the authors are speedrunning, with no sense of time or scale. But what can you expect from people who’ve probably never held a managerial or executive position—or even completed a meaningful real-world project

There’s nothing we can do about it until AI replaces these trash-tier authors. And if we actually uphold standards? Guess we’ll just have nothing to read

Read a f#cking manual if you want the most boring shit ever you really want to waste f#cking 30 chapters explaining how the main character methodically stretched out his dick with some rubber and a door?

Don't get me wrong, I dislike trash tier writers as much as the next reader, but there's ALL KINDS of shit wrong with AI writing books and novels. Don't even wish for that, bro. That's 'the end times' level shit.

I haven't read the plot so I don't know how it goes. Buildings can be built pretty fast. Prefabricated and modular structures can significantly reduce the time taken.
Instacon Tower, India, 2012. 10-Storey building in 48 hours.
T30 Hotel Tower and Ark Hotel, China, 2012. 2x 30storey hotels in 15 days.
Mini Sky City, China, 2015. 57 storey skyscraper in 19 days.
Pretty sure there were other quick constructions in the past decade.
These are not some wood structures. These are made with sturdy advanced materials that allow it to handle strong earthquakes and winds.
It shouldn't be that hard to build these in a world of fantasy and supernatural elements.
Again, I haven't read it so this is a speculation.
