They said “just review it”—so I poured myself a sip of chapter one. Four days and hundred & four chapters later, I’m three bottles deep in fictional carnage and my soul’s still staggering through alleyways lit by neon malice.

Liquor—what a name, what a beast of a city. It doesn’t pretend. It drips charm and crime in equal measure, a lawless waltz where knives glitter like constellations. Easily one of the most intoxicating “criminal towns” I’ve wandered into—and I’ve been to a few.

The plot? Swift as a bullet, sharp as a whispered betrayal. First three chapters lay it down like cards at a rigged table—stakes, schemes, and the kind of purpose that doesn’t meander, it lunges. And yet, even in its urgency, time crawls. Like a cigarette smoked in silence before a storm.

Characters aren’t scaffolding—they’re lanterns in the dark. Each one flares with life, quirks, and the kind of soul you can only find in cities built from broken dreams and sharpened loyalties. The MC? Unapologetically overpowered, blessed with a bastard’s charm and a knack for pushing others into the spotlight just when it matters.

If I’m being brutal: it’s a solid 4/5. But this isn’t a sober read. It’s a bender. A dive into a world where every chapter tastes like strong liquor and leaves you blinking at the sunrise wondering where the night went.

But if we’re going by the dopamine rush and fun-per-minute ratio? Easy five stars. Worth a binge.
