    So the VTB is the first corrupted creature that has no interest in killing (Even the spirit of doubt couldn’t resist the flame), and it seems ridiculously intelligent… what if it WANTS to die to sunny to clear itself of corruption again without dying in the real shadow realm? there’s even a chance it also becomes a shadow since sunny will get the spell back at the same time, possibly granting him it as an echo.

      Thats a good call. Only I have my doubts about its intelligence. What if it's intelligent but that intelligence was stolen and it might reset as a Shadow? Perhaps, it's all true and it planned all this and even though corrupted it might've had a mentality that convinced it otherwise like how it allegedly stole a titans mentality. But I'm more for the theory that a lot of this is Weaver and the spells machinations and the bird is a tool. It's said that Fate focuses on outcomes and not the process that much (earlier chapters) and the Spell has been pushing for certain outcomes that I feel led to the breaking of Fate; Weavers ultimate goal.
      I'm more interested in knowing if whatever Weaver could've been planning is a success or not now that Sunny has his Fate back. Knowing that Weaver knew there'd be an epigone in the future be it Cassie or Sunny it makes it more interesting.

    I have a theory that vtbs is Sunny’s shadow version of vtb and he used it to fight himself and get back his shades plus all his memories/hax. Making the first half of the fight basically ordained by his future self like a paradox.

          No, i ment he should think of it way earlier. The time they came into Estuary or even the Tomb itself. Like, isnt it obvious? You know that Spirits are hard ones even after they are dead, and vtb is probably the hardest of them all. And you know this nugget is crazy asf. You even know that some supremes are capable to reject their death. You need to form plan for that case. I dont think he could really do smth usefull in this situation, but he could not be surprized at least.

            yeah, I also said it was his fault, he shouldn't let his guard down in front of that damn bird knowing how terrifying it is but we also can't blame him, are we? he would probably thought about many things about VTB before battle begins, including your points. but then how the battle went.he battle it to his last drop of blood to defeat that beast and after that he was barely standing and then the spell come.what am i trying to say is any other one would loss their sanity after battling a being like VTB for eon's and sunny was still able to smile so it was understandable that he got tricked.
