    I knew it; the Nightmare Spell kept calling him a traitor. At first, I thought it was because of the first nightmare, but my theory is that the spell knew all along what Sunny would do in the future. My second theory is that Weaver planned for him to lose his destiny. The reason is that he has Weaver lineage; as long as he exists, he's a threat to existence. But what if he doesn't exist?

    I keep thinking that the nightmare chain was caused by Sunny; he already had a part of the Weaver in his attributes, and since he was known as "Mongrel," he was still adored. Could there be some connection, considering that not even Dreamspawn expected the arrival of the chain.

      I think it’s still too early to switch povs. We need at least a chapter or two for Sunny to check his runes and find Nephis only after that would it make sense to change the point of view.

    All this is the doing of Song of the Fallen and it is calling him treacherous!? Hows that fair?
    And why is this thing stealing Shades? They are not shiny, or is it killing them for getting in the way?
    Anyways how come Nightmare spell calling them Shades i thought that was Sunnys own naming convention.

      I have 2 theories:
      Sunny noted this could've been VTB plan all along so maybe it made sunny think it could only steal shiny things aswell as stole sunny killing intent when he figured sunny alone couldn't kill her

      2. It is now (or soon to be) a shadow creature and sane so it doesn't necessarily need to steal shiny things and could like dark things instead

      By becoming stronger. Becoming sacred and divine will make it easier. Its too soon to speak of unholy creatures but we know that the gap of power increases the higher one goes so keeping an unholy shade in him as a Sacred is probably off the table till G3 gives us more info about those realms.

      Vtb, and Slayer for that matter, are little unique in their powers, we didnt see any other Shades maintaining their previous nature. For slayer it might be because of her pure soul, for vtb we will find out since it will be a regular on the show…

    I should preface this by saying I'm no genius myself but god of shadows I need the confidence some of yall have with these theories in my daily life because shii..I swear to Weaver I might really run for Presidency. I seen some good theories and predictions with using language that suggests "I could be wrong" and good reasoning but some of these comments...it's like we're not even reading the same thing.
