    This was terrifying... Cassie's mom being revealed to be taken over, her talking about Asterion in that way... watching Asterion tear our Cassie's eyes... just terrifying. I hoped for G3 to make Asterion like LO49 and I am more than satisfied.

        Tearing it out, he peered into the mesmerizing blue depths of its iris and sighed wistfully.

        “Such pretty eyes. Ah... what a shame..."

        He crushed the bleeding eye in his fist, turned to Cassie, and smiled.

        “It's a pity, really”

        With that, he reached for her right eye, as well.

        If they were so useless, why does she need to remove the blindfold when minddiving? She can just keep the blindfold on if the eyes don't do anything right? Seeing her own eyes through others eyes give her access to their soul and memories. If she doesn't have eyes she'll never pose any threat to aster.
