      Those are 2 different worlds

      To his knowledge, never in the dream realm was there a period without awakened and monsters while in his world, the nightmare spell caused ppl to have powers and monsters to exist

      So awakened in the nightmare don't prove obel's theory

      For all we know, the world in the dream realm could've caused the nightmare spell

      oh that would make sense..

      but regarding the prof theory, imo, the whole thing doesn't make sense.. if the world was destroyed as a result of some future events. then that would also mean the future event would cease to exist constraint

      but that example would actually fit everything.. the forgotten shore incident created an event in the far future.. and that event created the antartic gates which was in the far less future, which is currently now, or something like that swim

    Nemfis comeback speed up the Antarctica destruction!! She is going to be a Sovereign :) .
    Second it implies that the three great clans killed of the White Flame clan to save humanity from destruction from the gates of a 4th ascension.
    Thirdly the comings and goings from the Dream realm must be carrying fate and consequences that is why the 3 sovereigns don't come back from dream realm.

    Mhm then I guess what they are trying to do is more like increasing the overall power level of the population instead of letting select few individuals become saints and sovereigns. There is obviously a hint of ego and jealousy involved too. Since they are one to lose everything incase someone else rises up to their level. So it's more like they making use of this fact to hit two birds with a single stone.
