Chapter 2030: Did the God Star Get Scared Away? |
Finding a new God Star is too simple. There’s just a God Star to place it, which is Luomu Luo’er’s new body.
Because of his deception a while ago, Luomu Luo’er was stripped of his original form and could only relocate to a God Star half the size of a Little Fireman. As an Attached Star, he didn’t have a Divine Tree before, so it’s just right to add one now.
Negris asked in a low voice, "Won’t moving it to Luomu Luo’er expose our position?"
"No, the Divine Tree is symbiotic with the God Star. Once it symbiotically unites, why would it expose our position? After the Little Sapling symbiotically united with the Lord, it even stopped listening to the God of Life," Anthony said.
"That’s true. Once the Divine Tree forms a symbiotic bond, it becomes one with the host and wouldn’t do anything that could harm the host," Negris said.
"But..." Anthony paused, then said, "The Triangle Gap is too important to us. It’s the only passage for the Lord to project into this world. We can’t entrust its safety to others. Should we relocate Luomu Luo’er?"
Negris got a headache: "You’ve said it all. Relocate? Relocate where? If he leaves the cover of the dark fog, he will quickly be discovered, exposing the Triangle Gap’s location."
The current dark fog contains two God Stars: one is Luomu Luo’er’s original form, and the other is his current body. They are both enveloped in dark fog to prevent light exposure. If one moves, a large amount of dark fog is needed to cover it; otherwise, it will be exposed.
The Void now resembles a dark forest. Only God Stars without Star Souls dare to emit light; the rest use various methods to obscure themselves, fearing the attention of the Time-Space Ancient Dragon or Exotic Ghosts.
"Hatching a God Star is easy. Haven’t you heard that tree saying that the Land of the Infinity easily births Star Souls? I suspect all those Little Fireballs Ange has are a type of Star Soul, and with enough Star Flame, they could grow easily. But where can we find enough Star Flame?" Negris said.
It should count as an engineering problem. Everyone knows if there’s enough water, a lake will form. But how can one obtain enough water?
At the Triangle Gap, Ange can quickly deploy two Stacked Pieces of Ghost Avatars because of the large amount of dark fog left by Luomu Luo’er’s main star.
With water, digging a pit creates a lake.
But there’s no water here, so even with Ange’s sky-shattering abilities, a God Star cannot be created.
Of course, Ange could use the Little Fireman and Abyssal Big Mouth to string together from the Land of the Infinity to shoot over a large amount of Star Flame.
But because of the Triangle Gap’s limitations, only a small amount can be shot each time, like stuffing sand through a tiny hole—troublesome, wasteful, impossible to do for a single tree.
Thinking of this, Anthony turned to the Tree Herder and asked, "Do you know where there is a lot of increment here?"
The Tree Herder’s eyes widened, "What do you mean? You’re planning to manually make a God Star for me to unite with?"
"If there’s enough increment, making one manually isn’t difficult. Without it, we have to find it. Most God Stars under our command already have trees," Anthony said.
The Tree Herder suspiciously looked him up and down. It’s normal for God Stars to have trees, as they complement each other. The earlier a Divine Tree unites with a God Star, the lesser the loss, and its lifespan is much longer than other God Stars.
But Anthony is talking about handmade God Stars?
"There is increment. Where you came from, there were two God Stars. After they exploded, they scattered a lot of Star Flame. The remaining increment formed a Material Belt. In a circle centered around them, there is a lot of increment, enough to form a Little God Star," the Tree Herder said.
"Oh, where is it? Point it out," Anthony said.
Following where the Tree Herder pointed, Anthony and Negris star-shifted a distance. After leaving the Tree Herder’s sight, they began throwing.
Anthony grabbed Negris and threw it forward. Once stabilized, Anthony soul-shifted beside Negris, grabbed it, and threw it again, just like Star Attraction.
This throwing was faster than star-shifting. After half a day, Anthony and Negris arrived at the Material Belt mentioned by the Tree Herder.
A large, irregular mass of solid matter and dark fog formed a crescent-shaped Material Belt that stretched to where the eye could not see.
Having seen the Silent Death Sea, both Anthony and Negris were no strangers to this Material Belt and were familiar with how to collect matter and increment, so much so that they didn’t need Ange’s involvement.
Anthony went into the Material Belt, pulled with both hands, and created a Devouring Abyss.
As soon as the Devouring Abyss condensed, the surrounding matter and dark fog rushed into it, clearing a large circle swiftly.
Anthony pushed the Devouring Abyss forward, devouring all matter and dark fog in its path, clearing a hollow trail.
Once the Devouring Abyss disappeared, the matter initially absorbed into the Abyss coalesced into a Matter Ball, floating leisurely forward, absorbing matter and dark fog along the way, growing larger.
"You’re copying Ange? How long is that going to take?" Negris said.
In the Silent Death Sea, Ange did the same, throwing a bunch of Rock Balls, spending half a year. In the end, it was the projection of Gemez Fortress increasing the Abyss Core’s gravity that gathered the entire Silent Death Sea’s matter, finally forming a new God Star.
Now, this Material Belt is larger than the scale of the Silent Death Sea. Gathering them would take several years, wouldn’t it?
"Several years? Lord Nage, do you know what ’several years’ means in the Void? It means tomorrow!!!" Anthony said with exasperation.
Following Ange, used to that rapid growth sensation, you complain that several years is too slow?
Disregarding the millennium, ten-thousand-year changes of the Void, even when Negris was still a Giant Dragon, several years passed in the blink of an eye. Now, she’s complaining it’s slow?
"Uh, even if I don’t mind the slowness, will that tree wait for you?" Negris said.
"I..." Before finishing the sentence, the place the Matter Ball hit suddenly brightened, rapidly moving into a dazzling light.
That strong light was startled by the sudden Matter Ball, its consciousness tracing back the Matter Ball’s path, soon landing on Anthony and Negris.
Both sides looked at each other, bewildered.
"A God Star? A God Star hiding in the Material Belt?" Negris said in astonishment.
The front light suddenly went dark as the God Star retracted all its light, even withdrawing its Thought, seemingly wanting to flee?
"The God Star fled?"
