I really thought it was a whole deception thing because she really believed she was getting killed, forming some sort of loophole. That's my headcanon anyway.

Make your second (last) question something that must be true no matter what. That way, the condition “at least one answer is true” is already satisfied by the second answer, so the first answer can safely be either truth or lie.
