Chapter 789: Small Black Girl (2nd Update)

Suddenly, a dark mass appeared before Libra. It seemed different from the surrounding darkness, and Libra could sense a pair of eyes observing her.

Realizing that the entity meant no harm, Libra reached out to touch it.

Soft and somewhat elastic, it had a pleasant texture.

"Can you speak?" Libra inquired.

After a moment, a slow, deliberate voice responded, "Can... you... speak...?"

Libra immediately realized that the entity possessed intelligence but had not yet developed language.

Unsure of her location and standing on seemingly nothing, she sensed the strangeness permeating the surroundings. However, she did not feel any immediate danger. Little Beast seemed to require some time to recover each time it brought her to a new place, and it had curled up inside her clothes to sleep.

Her life now revolved around teaching this Black Jelly language, naturally the language of humans.

Black Jelly displayed remarkable learning abilities. In just a few days, it could engage in basic conversation. After a month, Libra realized she had little to teach it in terms of language, unless she taught it the language of the cosmic races.

"LibraLibra, are you from a planet called Earth? What is a planet?" Black Jelly's voice sounded like that of a cheerful little girl as it spun around Libra.

Libra found it strange that she couldn't quite grasp where she was. Despite her prolonged stay, she didn't feel hungry, as if her energy remained untouched, which was peculiar.

In the balanced universe, the consumption and acquisition of energy are processes every being must undergo.

For Black Jelly, the first life it encountered after its birth was Libra. Since there was nothing here, there was naturally no planet.

It didn't know what a planet was and could only sense some aspects from Libra's descriptions.

Libra began to gradually impart other knowledge to Black Jelly, including the various planets and races in the universe.

After an indeterminate amount of time had passed, Little Beast finally awoke.

"What time is it here, using my point in time as a reference?"

Little Beast called out, leaving Libra momentarily stunned.

From Little Beast's call, she gleaned that this was a very early time, even before the birth of the Qiluo Civilization!

Although Little Beast could traverse time and space, the places and times it traversed were random. It could only influence the outcome as much as possible to ensure they didn't end up in a fatal place.

"When can we leave here?"

Little Beast called out, indicating it would take approximately half a year.

Helpless, Libra could only continue teaching Black Jelly.

Half a year passed in the blink of an eye. Just as Libra was preparing to leave with Little Beast, Black Jelly seemed reluctant. Libra gave Black Jelly a name: Small Black Girl.

"Oh, by the way, in your current form, you could be considered a cosmic race. Have you ever thought of giving your race a name?" Libra suddenly asked.

Small Black Girl knew that Libra's departure was inevitable, and she could only express her feelings with tears. "Libra, even if it's just to smile in the face of separation, I can't bring myself to smile now. I only hope I can smile in my dreams, and my clan will be called... Dream Shadow Clan, I guess."

"Hmm?"

Libra's eyes widened in surprise, just as she was about to speak, a beam of light flashed on Little Beast's body, and it carried her away from there.

Even after arriving at a new location, Libra remained dazed. She couldn't bring herself to dream, and it never occurred to her that Small Black Girl was part of the Dream Shadow Clan. Could it be that the Dream Shadow Clan was inadvertently created by her?

The relationship between the Red Alert Empire and the Dream Shadow Clan was already tense, as they had eliminated two members of the Dream Shadow Clan. If the Dream Shadow Clan was indeed created by Small Black Girl, and she were to appear, would there be no room for negotiation?

Libra shook her head, unwilling to think further. These matters could only be discussed after she returned. Her gaze fell on the area in front of her, which seemed to be a suburban area, and she began walking towards the distant high-rise buildings, taking one step at a time.

Rota Star, Marshal Rota entered the palace and saw the New Emperor face-to-face for the first time. This marked the first time they had met since the Red Alert Empire's rebellion. Previously, Marshal Rota had remained vigilant, fearing that the Red Alert Empire might suddenly appear, but it seemed that the empire was preoccupied with receiving other places, completely ignoring them.

However, he had recently received news that the Red Alert Empire had gathered all the Warships and was preparing to break through their defenses. Once their defenses were breached, Rota Star would lose all its defenses, and they would be at the mercy of anyone.

"Greetings, Your Majesty." Marshal Rota performed a courteous bow.

The 13th Spy sat on the throne, looking quite composed. "Marshal Rota has been busy lately."

"Everything is for the sake of the empire!" Marshal Rota smashed his fist into his chest, his expression serious.

"I wonder if His Majesty summoned Marshal Rota for any purpose?"

"Your Majesty, the Red Alert Empire will definitely attack our defenses in the near future. I hope General Zhenyuan and I can join forces, as I know this request is quite difficult, but..."

Just as Marshal Rota was trying to persuade the New Emperor, he never expected the New Emperor to respond so quickly. "Can do."

Marshal Rota's mind raced, and he had prepared a lengthy response. If the New Emperor didn't agree, he would have stayed right where he was.

To his surprise, the New Emperor responded so quickly!

Not long after, Marshal Rota reacted, realizing that this was the New Emperor, not the fearful emperor of before.

"Your Majesty, please rest assured. With General Zhenyuan's help, we will surely defeat the Red Alert Empire!" Marshal declared confidently.

Zhenyuan followed Marshal Rota out, unnoticing that the strange light in the 13th Spy's eyes had faded.

"Commander, it's the same as what you said. Marshal Rota was borrowing Zhenyuan, and it seems they're preparing to do something." The 13th Spy began contacting Su Chen.

Su Chen understood that if the Rota Empire was in its current state, a full-scale war would ultimately result in its defeat. However, if they fought a high-level war, the outcome would be uncertain.

Facing a Marshal on par with a Large Galaxy ninth level, the Red Alert Empire had deployed almost all its high-level forces, leaving them no choice but to fight evenly.

And if Zhenyuan, who was no inferior to Marshal Rota, joined the fray, the Red Alert Empire would have no idea what to counter.

At that moment, the main base on Earth, Leng Yuwei, looked sternly at Su Chen.

"You've decided, haven't you?" Su Chen hesitated.

"Well, I'm determined to stay by your side, so there's no way around it."

Su Chen sighed, knowing he couldn't stop Leng Yuwei, and removed a certain object from his body.
