Chapter 1150: Bloodlines Harmonized, Chaos Rising

This was why he'd always known that his tribulation had to be perfectly timed. It wasn't that he wanted to wait for the two transcendent divine items to arrive before ascending, but rather, the exact opposite—he had to get past his tribulation beforehand, then together with Mei Gongzi meet those two transcendent divine items beyond the heavens, restoring his God King power outside this plane. Only that way would he cause the least disturbance to this world.

But to transcend here, he had to face immense pressure. This closed-door cultivation was of critical importance to him. Otherwise, he would never have risked producing immortal energy.

Tang San now carried many bloodline imprints, gravitating around the Chaos Blue Silver Emperor. This was his most powerful one, and under his deliberate nurturing, it had long since become the core of all his bloodlines. It was only thanks to it that so many different bloodline powers, including transcendent ones, could remain so calm and perfectly under his control.

Next was the Discerning Eye of Heaven, born from the fusion of Aetherhorn Deer and Celestial Fox bloodlines and improved by the Rainbow Deer Demon Emperor's bloodline. This too was a true transcendent bloodline; it not only commanded fortune and discerned fate, but could also grasp all kinds of elemental powers. The Aetherhorn Deer bloodline power had always allowed him to see elemental energies, but controlling them to any useful extent had only become a possibility after merging the Rainbow Deer Demon Emperor's bloodline. It was precisely through this power that he was able to establish the Elemental Seas for humanity—of course, with the aid of the Heart of Nature.

After the Discerning Eye came another transcendent bloodline: the Golden Armor Transformation. This imprint gave Tang San an unprecedentedly powerful physique, with immense strength and terrifying toughness, and played a decisive role in the way his physique adapted to various challenges. Without it, he would have never been able to bear so many powerful bloodline imprints. And under the nourishment of chaos energy and the grinding of yin-yang energies, the Golden Armor had become even more formidable. Tang San could sense that his physique now far surpassed what it had been in his past life at a similar level.

Then there was the Crystal Transformation. Even though this was not originally a transcendent bloodline, that was only because the plane had suppressed the Crystal Demon Emperor's power. In Tang San's hands, and with Crystalline's spirit residing within, this bloodline had finally tapped into its true potential.

Through the Crystal Transformation's might, Tang San could wield even more bloodline powers. More importantly, as far as the Emperors of the Ancestral Court were concerned, this bloodline represented the legacy of the Crystal Demon Emperor, and therefore had tremendous deterrent power.

Beyond that, he still had the Peacock Transformation, Chrono Transformation, Dragon Roc, Immortal Flame Phoenix, Holy Radiant Dragon, and Indestructible Lion-Tiger. Each was incomparably powerful.

And then, of course, one not as powerful but just as important, the key to his establishment of the Blue Gold Palace: the Blue Gold Tree bloodline, carrying the life imprint of the Ancestral Tree.

All in all, he had eleven bloodlines. Each on its own was enough to cultivate an Emperor, and all of them gathered in one body was… unimaginable.

In the past few months, what he used most was naturally the Blue Gold Transformation. But its unusual power came because supporting it was not just the imprint of the Ancestral Tree, but also the Chaos Blue Silver Emperor. It was only due to its chaos energy that the Blue Gold Transformation could unleash such immense and high-level life energy.

Beyond the eleven bloodline imprints, Tang San also commanded multiple domains: the God-Killing Domain, the Polar Luck Domain, the Life Deprivation Domain, as well as other domains derived from his bloodlines.

Tang San could use this multitude of powers quite proficiently thanks to his many years of experience and unique insights. One extra ability meant one extra tool in his rich arsenal, and there were hardly any drawbacks. But facing tribulation was another matter entirely.

Now, he had to harmonize all these bloodline imprints into a more unified whole, so that during the tribulation, he could maximize his strength.

Before tribulation, his cultivation could only rise to the peak of the eleventh order, and he had to avoid overdoing it. Any mistake and the Emperor Tribulation would immediately arrive. But he had his ways to do things; the level that his internal energy could reach was more or less fixed, but the way he used his abilities was most certainly not.

Tang San took a look at Mei Gongzi and enveloped her with his divine consciousness, sensing that she was wholly immersed in meditation. She was focusing on the Asura Sword and cultivating steadily, refining and strengthening herself. Only then did he turn his focus inward.

A faint smile crossed his face, and he drew a deep breath. Though he knew the Emperor Tribulation he was about to face would be the grandest in the history of Planet Falan, his heart was filled with confidence. He was destined to succeed. For the sake of protecting the woman at his side, he had to succeed.

With the Lifebond Necklace binding them, if something befell him, Mei Gongzi would also be dragged into peril. That was something he could never allow.

Ignoring the other imprints, Tang San first focused his will on the Chaos Blue Silver Emperor, gently stimulating the chaos energy

Normally, chaos energy was simply impossible to cultivate. It was a primal energy that only existed when a plane was first formed, and the only thing that could give rise to it was the fusion of yin and yang, which no being on this plane had ever succeeded in.

But now, within the Blue Gold Palace was lesser immortal energy. Though different from chaos energy, it was of the same order of existence, and its nourishing effect surpassed ordinary spirit energy of heaven and earth by multiple orders of magnitude. Under Tang San's careful guidance, this immortal energy slowly infused the droplet of Chaos Water in his dantian, making it grow denser.

Tang San had already decided which Law he would touch upon during his tribulation.

Practically every one of his bloodline imprints was connected to a different Law. If he simply triggered his tribulation like that, it would mean touching upon a dozen Laws simultaneously, almost the full spectrum the plane allowed. It was tantamount to attempting to take control over the planar ruler itself. Without his transcendent divine item in hand, that was no different from courting death.

Thus, he had to reduce the number of Laws. Even if it meant setting aside certain imprints, they could not become shackles.

At the same time, he could not abandon them outright, as that would cause his cultivation to drop. Thus, the first order of business was to increase the power of the Chaos Blue Silver Emperor. The stronger it was, the greater the control it could exert upon the other imprints, and the more things he could do.

His cultivation was not actually at the peak of the eleventh order. What appeared as peak cultivation was the synergy of many bloodline imprints supporting one another. Without actively drawing on them, his own strength fell rather short of that level. Moreover, even if he did hit the peak, he could still compress his energy and cultivate even more.

And that was exactly what he did: not nourishing all his bloodline imprints but pouring all the lesser immortal energy into cultivating his chaos energy, increasing its quantity and constantly compressing it with his divine consciousness.

His ability to do so stemmed from the fact that he had managed to find an appropriate vessel for the Sea God's Trident—the Holy Dragon Spear. Just like Mei Gongzi with the Asura Sword, he could now use some of the trident's actual power, and it was only this power that allowed him to do what he wanted with chaos energy. No power in this plane would have allowed him to control it like this.

Gradually, Tang San entered deep meditation, slowly strengthening his chaos energy. This was the most vital step of his closed-door cultivation.

The life energy radiating from the Tower of Life quietly shifted in resonance.
