        No, I’ve seen kids that are unnaturally at talking-rightfully so, since there isn’t much communication on the daily. Whist adults need to communicate to others correctly to address their needs, it’s not an option. You have al sorts of adults now, terrible, good, but all of them have the ability to speak coherently to some other people—even more so for people with jobs. Not communicating on a job is literally depending on the occasion is grounds for firing. Having such terrible social skills is downright off putting and not possible in his setting. I have a feeling the author can’t really display a good communication scene, whilst he is extremely good at creating a setting, decent progression (+ character dev). But even so there are also a few things that just don’t match. Like imagine for instance a god that’s lived for trillions of years suddenly becoming friends with a weakling at that moment. Why? Bloodline? Ur shitting me. How many other occasions are there where a god is a friend with a mortal? None pretty much with him being the only outlier. The author just uses his bad communication or his unrealistic shyness to further an agenda or get him some benefits. Why would he be shy around some random people while he’s not shy around a god? Make this make sense.

    The place still has plenty of other monsters at high levels though, so unless Jake intends to protect every person that comes here, the only thing that this place offers aside from natural resources is the lack of other people.

    If this pattern keeps up though it would inevitably become noisy for him, not to mention taking up his time to keep them alive. Is Jake really ok with that?
