Chapter 694: 524: Master of Humanity_3

The idea is good in theory, but one runs into all sorts of issues when it comes to practical implementation. However, Su Li, immersed in her work, seems quite fulfilled. Life is treating her very well indeed.

After spending some time here, Su Heng gained a general understanding of Biological Alchemy.

He no longer wished to impose and took his leave.

...

With one step forward, he crossed the entire ocean and returned to the Eastern Continent.

Su Shang's talent pales in comparison to that of his elder brother and sister; reaching Heavenly Deceit was already the limit. Normally, a being of Heavenly Deceit would live up to three hundred years. Even with a plethora of medicinal enhancements, Su Shang doesn't look like a decrepit old man, but visible wrinkles have formed on his face, and streaks of white appear in his hair, making him look around fifty years old. His vitality is also no longer at its peak.

After more than a century, they meet again.

There is an undeniable reserve in Su Shang's expression as he summons several of the young descendants he values and calls them over.

To these youngsters, Su Heng's face seems somewhat familiar, but for the moment they can't recall how to address him. It is only after Su Shang respectfully calls out "Second Elder Brother" that recognition and surprise color their faces. Su Shang's lineage is unquestionably noble, holding a status even above that of Imperial Relatives.

These young ones are regarded as prodigies and prestigious ladies in the eyes of the common folks, but now they stand excitedly silent, nervously wringing their hands.

Only after reprimanded by Su Shang

Do they seem to awaken from a dream, one by one kneeling and kowtowing, "We greet our Great Uncle; we wish for your blessed peace and boundless longevity."

With Su Heng's current level of Cultivation, saying "boundless longevity" is practically a curse, but he doesn't mind these trivial details. Most of his time is spent in secluded cultivation, and his mindset is quite youthful. Seeing these young ones kowtow and address him as an elder is quite amusing to him.

Su Heng takes out several precious swords, Jade Pendants, and the like from his bosom and gifts them to the youngsters.

These items, though casually crafted by Su Heng, are made from either the mysterious Innate Spirit Roots of the eternal heavens or the powers of mighty Destruction Powers.

For these youngsters' Cultivation, these gifts are tremendously beneficial.

Upon receiving the gifts,

The descendants' faces reveal uncontrollable joy and surprise.

The intrinsic value of these gifts is one thing; their significance is another... These are, after all, personal gifts from the legendary Northern Border Demon Dragon; even a simple pebble from his hand would be worth boasting about for a lifetime. Overcome with excitement, the youngsters can hardly wait to show off to their parents, kin, and friends.

Su Shang waves his sleeve to dismiss them, then joins Su Heng to admire the scenery and drink tea in the garden.

An afternoon passes peacefully.

Su Heng does not dine at Su Shang's residence; he leaves some life-extending medicinal herbs behind and bids farewell.

Heading directly towards Central State, he knows that Ji Huaxi has been handling the mundane affairs of the world all these years – some matters still demand personal inquiry.

But as Su Heng walks through a deserted mountain in Central State, his expression turns to one of surprise, and his steps halt.

"Shua!"

Su Heng raises an eyebrow.

A crack silently forms in the space filled with starlight before him.

"The tide comes in with messages atop the Dadang River; today I finally realize who I am." Accompanied by a hearty laugh, an imposing figure with bushy, ink-like eyebrows, standing over three meters tall, steps out of the crack.

"So many years have passed, and I, King Qingyang, have finally returned from the eternal heavens!" He booms with thunderous joy, his voice scattering a few clouds in the sky, the pleasure in his return quite evident. Yet his disheveled hair and tattered robe suggest he has been through a fierce battle.

Standing mid-air, he laughs for a while.

After surveying his surroundings and determining his location, his eyes land on Su Heng nearby, and his face reveals another shock.

Now a Realm Lord Level powerhouse and after many years battling in the eternal heavens, even slaying a Destruction Power, he considers himself no weakling in his domain. His vigilance is high, but to have someone stand within a kilometer and remain undetected fills King Qingyang with a chilling surprise.

As starlight reveals Su Heng's face,

King Qingyang's emotions instantly turn from shock to joy, his disbelief prompting him to ask, "Could it be Brother Su Heng?"

"What, after so many years battling in the eternal heavens, can't even recognize my face anymore?" Su Heng steps forward and slaps him on the shoulder, carrying a smile typical of old friends reuniting.

"It really is you!"

King Qingyang's face is filled with smiles; first, he pulls Su Heng into a hug, then gripping his arm, he exclaims, "My adventures in the eternal heavens, though fraught with unexpected events, proved immensely rewarding. Not only did I inherit the Daoist Field left by the Longevity King, but I also stumbled upon a great opportunity. Should you encounter any formidable enemies, just give the word, and I, King Qingyang, will not stand down!"

Su Heng nods slowly, saying nothing of what has happened over the years, only smirking, "Of course."

While the two converse, a clear and melodious female voice echoes from afar, "Congratulations to the Heavenly King for successfully overcoming obstacles and attaining the Great Dao. The world is now unified, constantly evolving. If the Heavenly King has learned of the current situation, I hope not to be too startled."

Advancing in a crimson gown, dignified with eyes like stars, it is none other than the Empress Ji Huaxi, whose Cultivation has grown even deeper.
