to be honest, typical xianxia novel. FMC is just eye candy and isn't very usefull. Typical go into sect, hide skills, once something happens, reveals power, everyone is in awe, and MC gets popular and rich. Fastforward, moves to new sect, rinse and repeat with a small adventure sprinkled in there. There are definitely better novels but this is just a time killer imo. Nothing unique except his powers which are pretty cool but nonetheless plot is cliche.

Ignore those reviews below. This is good but not the best. Worth it? Yep, worth it. I'm now in chapter 260 and so far it's good. Though some of you may find MC's action reckless and stupid but no, MC is wise in his decision and quite a calculative person, He knows what to do even risking his life. To others, It's stupid. However, for me it's reasonable. If you want to become stronger why stop at challenging those below or the same rank as you? If you can challenge those higher rank than you and step on them, let them taste that there is always another sky above the sky or the is always another tall mountain beyond that mountain.

Thankfully, There is no Youngmaster syndrome, yet? Hopefully, there will be few since I hate this kind of scenario, Most Chinese novels seem to love that scenario.

The Romance is kinda forced and fast but either way. Love is a mystery itself, like count Dracula from Hotel Transylvania, said, you can't stop the Zing.

I saw the harem genre, I guess I'm a harem reader myself. I'm hoping to see another beauty in the harem.

World-building itself is great and awesome. Although some information I find lacking, either way, it is still great compared to other novels I read.

The plot, it's something I quite don't like. Because it's bland but not repetitive. I feel like there's always something missing and need some spice in it. Yup, We need more Face-slapping!

How does this novel have such a high rating? Just 200 chapters in and story is already repeated 5 in a loop with only the name and location change. MC power is unique but this plot is non existence and in loop.

....found it Interesting in the foremost chapters but the more i read, the more boring it looks to me. MC practically has no Character development. Story too slowww.....they spent three chapters in a mission hall just to pick up missions and a whole chapter for their splitting up. Female Lead (wife of MC) looks like a beauty without brains, like a puppet who has been programmed to love without any other thought but her master's will. She frowns to anybody who is not related to the MC and the embraces the MC's word like a puppet without any thought. Its like the MC is the only one who exist, who the h*ll will tell her man to go for another woman just because it will make him happy. I really dislike her......and is the harem even necessary?......slow plot and slow update, it makes the story borrrrrrrrring

so I only made it to chapter 88 so if it improves after that I wouldn't know, from my experience reading it, I would say it's only slightly above avg. compared to your standard self-pub novel, that being said most self-pub novels miss the editing and beta readers step, and I think some beta readers would have really helped here since a lot of the issues it has could be fixed by just tweaking and finetuning scenes and presentation.

first issue, I think the MC thinks a bit like a middle school child, with almost every female character his first descriptions are always about how sexy said character is, flat-chested, curvy(but with like way more detail), and some of the more normal descriptions they're just beautiful or gorgeous.

he's not really level headed at all and I realize part of his character is he's "unyielding" and won't bend for others, but it makes some of the fight scenes feel gratuitous cause he really just escalates the hell out of everything and makes him come off as weirdly entitled even if he's right.

lastly, the background and structure for characters he has some relationship with just isn't believable sometimes, there's this one character called fatty, because.. well he's fat(sigh), and I swear he was only in three scenes and only got MC discounts on plants once but they already call each other brothers and there's a lot of exposition(told to us not shown) about how brotherly they're relationship is and the whole time I'm reading it I feel confused; cause I swear they've barely talked. also, the characters name is fatty which immediately makes it hard to take him seriously. I'm sure I could keep going but eh nah I'm done, I like the concept but the execution is poor.

Great-ish first couple of chapters though. wish I could read about that MC instead of whoever we ended up with.

I hoped author clarified what kind of dragon little black was is he a eastern dragon with 5 legs and long body or a eastern dragon with 4 legs and a huge wings. I really hate it when something important isn't clarified.
